@@Spectra12 I have aquarium I can answer your question they need air because the dissolved oxygen in water is consumed by the fish and they release carbon dioxide which gets dissolved in water. So, the water needs air for the removal of carbon dioxide and the addition of oxygen. So that the fish can consume it for energy

I spot 3 panes of glass spaced apart in the middle. Still doesn't seem safe to put bodyweight on glass like that. I've seen glass shatter spontaneously before
