If you listen closely to some of Klaus's lines you can hear a slight hint of Robert Sheehan's Irish accent and honestly I love that so freaking much

His Irish accent would have added so much hilariousness to klaus, but then he would just be nathan so... they couldn't do that

Yeah I can't tell if Klaus is the most compellingly written character or if Robert Sheehan had the best and most consistent performance, but for one reason or another no scene with him in it was dull, and I can't say that the entirety of the series.
lnfreeman it’s bobby Sheehan, I bet 50% of what he’s saying wasn’t scripted, he’s exactly like that in interviews (but with an Irish accent , which for some reason is just naturally funnier). He does the same in ‘Misfits’.

im literally in love with him the character development hes gone through in the 1st season is amazing im OBSESSED with the way they write him as the funny character at first, as an audience we see him like the other characters do- goofy, kind of annoying, cant take anything seriously- then he goes to vietnam and comes back and has some of the most heartbreaking scenes in the show and we realise how much hes hurting and get a whole new perspective on him and robert plays both sides of his character SO WELL
