An ffx file is an after effects preset file. Assuming its a coloring preset, you'd have to apply the preset in after effects, and then open the magic bullet looks panel and save the coloring as an rgx file there
Seems to be a common issue. You can try placing your CC's in the directory of the default MBL files, it should be under (C: > Program Files > Red Giant > Magic Bullet Looks > Presets). When you do this they should show up as one of the default colorings

Id suggest trying to find a color correction that uses the .MBLook or .RGX file format. The .ls3 format seems to be the least common type of Magic Bullet file, I think its caused by someone exporting their preset from Sony Vegas (another editing software) rather than after effects.
@@Aetoulthanks for the reply, is there any other software that supports .ls3 file's for cc or is there any website in ur sight that can convert .ls3 to .rgx or .mblook or should i install the old version of Magic bullet looks which supports .ls3
@@varun9733 From what I know theres not really a version of MBL that supports ls3, its a file extension created from exporting from a different software. I don't think theres any service that converts .ls3 files, so I'd personally just find a different CC

Hey, I'm probably super late and won't get a response but, when I download my files it shows as an .MBLooks file but the white paper isn't showing up. It's a completely different icon.
Seems to be a common issue, a potential fix is to place your CC's in the default MBL presets folder. This folder should be under (C: > Program Files > Red Giant > Magic Bullet Looks > Presets). When you do this they should show up as one of the default colorings in your looks editor

hi it doesn’t let me import the coloring w the version 14 so i tried it the other way u suggest by dragging the files into the presets but it only works for RGX files & i have some MBL & RGX colorings so i can’t downgrade :(. do u know what i can do to fix this?
Unfortunately not, since .RGX files are the newer type of file. It's impossible to downgrade back into an MBLook file as rgx files have properties that MBLook files don't.
