I have an idea for a spirit: Play DK with lots of jump spirits and light weight spirits. The cargo throw short hop. They should go high in the air, then up throw. Absolutely broken.
I'd recommend playing Meta Knight with the Galacta Knight spirit. Most OP spirit kit in the game because characters with primary spirits from the same franchise get a buff AND Galacta knight buffs swords including meta knights.
There’s one hilariously broken spirit. If you use queen Metroid with the runner dojo and give it 3 landing lag down spirits and play Belmont’s its soooo op
Mario has had problems with frogs since his nightmare after playing too much doki doki panic though I thought he was mostly over it since working with that cloud prince which thought it was tadpole... weird that I’m not making this up
Sakurai’s wife designs the menu UI for all of Sakurai’s games since Kirby Air Ride! She used to work at HAL Labs which is how they met.

As someone who is grind through WOL spiritless, I can confirm the only way to beat spirits is to cheese / edge guard them

I'd recommend playing Meta Knight with the Galacta Knight spirit. Most OP spirit kit in the game because characters with primary spirits from the same franchise get a buff AND Galacta knight buffs swords including meta knights.
I think that the Hades spirit would be best for lucario, it's a defense type, but it has more attack than defense and has trade-off attack.
For the first battle they should've gone squirtle, corrin, and greninja. Triple water type matchup!
