Popcorn Chicken Recipe by SooperChef (Iftar Special Recipe)

Popcorn Chicken
Ingredients for Chicken Marination:
Chicken cubes (boneless) 1 kg
Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp.
Red chili powder 2 tbsp.
Salt 1 tsp
Chili sauce 2 tbsp.
Vinegar 1 tbsp.
Milk 1/2 cup
Eggs 2
Ingredients for Flour Mixture:
All-purpose flour 2 cups
Corn flour 1 cup
Black pepper powder 1/2 tsp
Red chili flakes 1 tbsp.
Garlic powder 1 tsp
Salt 1 tbsp.
Ingredients for Mayo Chili Sauce:
Mayonnaise 1 cup
Ketchup 6 tbsp.
Lemon juice 1 tbsp.
Black pepper powder 1/2 tsp
Red chili flakes 1 tsp
Ingredients for Popcorn Chicken:
Marinated chicken
Flour Mixture
Chilled water
Oil (for frying) as required
Directions for Chicken Marination:
1. In a bowl add chicken, ginger garlic paste, red chili powder, salt, chili sauce, vinegar, milk, egg and mix well.
2. Marinate the chicken for 15-20 minutes.
Directions for Flour Mixture Preparation:
3. In a bowl add flour, corn flour, black pepper, chili flakes, garlic powder, and salt and mix well. Your flour mixture is ready. Set aside.
Directions for Popcorn Chicken Preparation:
4. Take marinated chicken chunks and coat them in flour mixture.
5. Dip them in chilled water for 2 seconds and coat in flour mixture again.
6. Deep fry the coated chicken in oil until crispy and golden in color.
7. Your Popcorn Chicken is ready. Serve it with Mayo Chili Sauce and enjoy.
Preparation time: 30 mins
Cooking time: 10 mins
Servings: 5-6

eggs should not be added in the marination process, they make a layer over the thing we are marinating and then slows down the marinaton process or don't let the spices to marinate the product. We should add them in the last
