In the end of the day, Prototype is just like the other toys:
A victim which is being used by Harley Sawyer and the other scientists for Bigger Body Experiment except Protoype is 10 steps ahead above them. I really hope his boss fight is harder than the other toys that we faced, not just being chased but also fight him back! When you think about it, we haven't fight any single toys in this game so far, only to escape from them and outsmart them by trapping them like with Mommy, Catnap, Yarnaby, Sawyer and Doey. Huggy only to make him fall and he survived afterwards.

Can we all just take a moment and appreciate how damn good job Mob has managed to do to keep the Prototype's appearance and motives a secret? There's no leaks, no datamines, nothing. All we know about him is what we've gotten through lore and the small teases in the game, and yet he is still a complete mystery. Mob really has managed to keep us in suspense.

I don’t think it’s anything to worry about. They’ve already responded to the negative feedback Chapter 4 received. I’m sure they took a ton of notes on how to improve. They said it themselves. Besides, I don’t think they’d allow the same mistake twice.
And also to add onto it, they’ve been working on this for several years supposedly. So it’s not like they’re starting from complete scratch. Bad or good, all I know is that this chapter has quite the story to tell. Can’t wait!

The thumbnail is actually very important because it is similar to the trailer in Chapter 3. This tells us that, just as CatNap was the main antagonist toy in Chapter 3, the Prototype is the main antagonist and, in a sense, this is the final chapter

With all of these present, they could have chosen to add one more chapter and reveal the Prototype in Chapter 6 instead of Chapter 5. After all, until this thumbnail, we did not know for sure whether the final would take place in Chapter 5.
So can we all agree that the yellow hand is like the one we called "the strong hand" that we thought would be in chapter 3 and broke walls, but was just fan made?

Oh No, the first thing I thought of when we see the Puppet Face (?) of it in the reflection of the Knife, was the Spider-Baby from Toy Story. Made me laugh a bit.

SO IF ELLIOT = PROTOTYPE = POPPY'S FATHER ??
In chapter 2 the VHS in Elliot's office mentions that Elliot lost a loved one of his close family. I think it's his daughter. Elliot would have turned her into Poppy, thanks to the poppy flower, refusing to accept her death. He didn't want to let his job, or his daughter, become an unfinished project.
This would echo Mob's sentence: "The Prototype stalks its unfinished work..." as mentioned by Mob Entertainment under the post of the last trailer. If Elliot has become the Prototype, then Poppy could perhaps be this unfinished project that he is still trying to protect... or to recover or not.
Elliot would therefore have transferred his memories, his will, his obsession to "finish the unfinished project".
In chapter 4, a VHS shows a conversation between Poppy and Ollie. Ollie (Prototype) tells her that he will always be there for her. This sentence takes on a completely different meaning if Ollie is actually Elliot, her father, in order to continue to watch over her in another form.
This explains why Poppy is alive, protected, isolated, never destroyed. And hence the sentence in the last trailer and in the final scene in chapitre 4 with the prototype "IT'S TIME TO COME HOME"
Another VHS shows Poppy saying that if her father was still there, he would know what to say, especially when he was running the factory. This sentence is very meaningful and reinforces the idea of a strong family bond between Poppy and Elliot.
Even if it is not explicitly confirmed, we clearly feel that Poppy suffers from this absence and especially the fact that she did not ask for anything asks to be released and is aware of all this.
And if we return to the very first trailer of the channel it proves it to us we see the maintenance video of the Poppy doll and a short passage where it is written "LET ME GO" with Poppy's head in the background as a call for help. This proves that Poppy is lucid, a prisoner of her artificial body, and stuck in an experiment she never chose.
This is almost fanf levels of s### that you broke your fingers for, must say I’m impressed

I like it when they write a villain that isn't just "oh this guy evil he will destroy the woldr 👹" rather writing it with a depth that will somehow play with the audience's feelings. That perhaps it will come off as something justified in a way. That perhaps the villain is just someone with an extreme and twisted ideology.
