They are talking about this without doing EVEN A MINUTE of research. I know whats going on i follow the turkish league. The moment mourinho got here he started attacking galatasaray and their coach.. saying hes best friends with the ref, that hes allowed to walk on the field but mourinho cant, that galatasaray gets favorable calls and he doesnt, that gala gets no yellow cards, and then some small little pokes at the coach. Its been non stop since he got to turkey and the galatasaray coach, okan buruk, never responded at all and went there and won 3-1. It was utter domination at fenerbahce’s home field.
Simon said fenerbahce is doing good this season with mourinho. Also not true.. they lost to Lille and got knocked out of the UCL qualifiers. He drew 2-2 to a newly promoted team. They had 99 pts last season and still lost so being 5 pts back already is a massive problem and all of turkey is freaking out about how disrespectful he was to this young reporter trying to ask him a question after the game.
Simon instantly just believes him when he says he waited 70minutes.. its not true. The game was at his home stadium so the away coach goes first. Nothing new here. The galatasaray coach spoke for 20 mins and then went another 5 mins over. During this press conference mourinho kept trying to pop in to get his over with and run home, but you gotta wait just 10 minutes more, maximum, to get your turn. Look up the video of him talking to the reporter from beyaz tv/white tv on youtube and tell me he isnt being an assh@le to him.
They made the galatasaray fans go into the stadium 3 hours early through extremely tight fenced cages and were not allowed to eat or use their phones and had to take off their shoes and some clothing. They then had to wait 2-3 hours after the game for everyone to leave and then they were forced to take the same buses back to galatasaray stadium even if they lived around the corner from the fenerbahce stadium. They basically tortured these 2100 away fans all day even blasting loud noise thru massive speakers aimed at the away stands.
What you said here was a massive lie. The stats in thay derby show that fenerbache were the better team but galatasary were the most clinical. I watched that game aswell and galatasary had a worldie scored against the run of play, before that point fenerbahçe could have 2 or 3.
He drew to a newly promoted team early on in the season in a game marred by technical director being assaulted by fans at the stage when it was 2-0 which took away his players focus. After that game they went in a run of form on top till the derby. Regarding lille, they got knocked out due to a penalty decision against them that should never be a penalty, very very soft ball to hand incident.
As far as him calling out galatasary being favourited, i suggest you do some research behind the Turkish league president obssesion and opression of fenerbahçe for the last 10 years. Go research the shooting of the bus and the fan vs players violent interaction from last season before you talk

They complain about cheating all the time. Please look up their games in the middle of last season. Phantom handballs given in the 97th minute.. red cards given to phantom fouls.. 10 straight games down 1-0 and they won them all and drew 1-2 games. Look at the calls in those games to keep the race alive and to make the league more money. And they did. A lot more money.

When u dont play UCL for 16 years or win a superlig title in over a decade then yea your fanbase needs to delude themselves just to get thru the day or the season. Last title fener won? One was 2011 when they were caught red handed paying off refs and opposing players. Banned from europe for two years. Kept their title bc of corruption as usual. There i added context. Btw they won that title on goal difference.

The England national team will never win anything with an English manager because there isn't a suitable English candidate, if we want to start winning these tournaments that is. Still, there's a suitably sized soft contingent that support England who raved about Southgate being the most successful England manager since Sir Alf, failing to see the bigger picture because they're clueless about football.
