Thank you Dustin. As someone who is very new to deck selections other than the mainstream ones, it really helps with future purchases to see a deck walk-through and to hear your thoughts on the different cards :)
Definitly a deck that we can say it represents the global world of today. I don't believe in cultural appropriation, since we are all part of one world and we should learn, appreciate and use in our lives the wisdom of our world culture. Until very recently we didn't have access or it was masked and changed how we could access those cultures. Today it is in our power to learn from all our ancestors. Thanks for the walk through.
Thank you for the walk through and speaking on the incorporating of people of color with the Egyptian part. I love when people aren't afraid to speak on inclusion. I now want this deck! Lol! Great job! Thanks!!
I seem to have a habit of commenting on old ass videos, lol. I’m doing my due diligence and watching/reading reviews because I’m tempted to purchase. I am just curious, how has your experiences been with this deck (five years later..lol.) Do you still have this deck and would you recommend? I’m trying to behave some and at least do a little more digging before just purchasing, definitely quite the challenge 😆 Love your videos, even the ones half a decade old :o)
I still very much love and adore this deck. It is EXTREMELY rare that a deck that I review is a deck that I stop enjoying. The hermit in this deck is one of my absolute favorites! Thank you for watching Nikkie!
Wow on the hanged man card how ryt on * plus I’d like to say boarderless hardly is cause the edge of the card is the boarder however :) great vid thanks
Beautiful deck, but be aware if you're a traditional reader...her descriptions, especially of the court cards, differ a lot from foundational principles.
Her court cards are based on the Mythology present within the deck. Each suite is based on a specific cultural heritage, and the court is made up of figures of that heritage's mythos. At the end of the day you can read it however you like. Her interpretations are based on those mythological archetypes though and do lean away from golden dawn interpretations that we see reflected in Toth and Waite. As a "traditional reader" I have zero problem reading these as is, or working in the mythos she presents in the artwork and in the guidebook. :)
