I hope you recover soon, and am glad you’re in a place where you can take the time to heal. Thank you for the audio, and I hope you have a wonderful day and week. Personally I always enjoy watching and listening to Fae stories; it’s always fascinating to see the various interpretations and stories made of them. One of my personal favorite ways to enter the Fae realm that I’ve heard of is this: Walk around a tree wittershins thrice in a row. That’s it, as far as I know that’s all it takes for that method. Which I find hilariously easy and safe compared to every other method I know of.
This comment somehow got moved to a different video, so my Appologies it’s late. I only realized when I came back to explain that wittershins means counter-clockwise and couldn’t find it.
...In my defense, I've learned from stories that, while saying yes to friendly offers _can_ be a mistake, saying no to kindness and hospitality _always_ is. Xenia's a hard law to break.
"How will I know your friend when I see him?" "Oh, well you can't miss him. He's a pooka." "A pooka? Is that something new?" "Uh, no, ma'am, as I understand, it's something very old." (Yes, I picked it up immediately, Harvey.)
:D Well done!!! I don't know if I slightly misquoted that line of if the line in the play was different from the line in the movie.. but I rehearsed with a cute boy for the school play when I was 14 years old and that line has been stuck in my head ever since!
A puca? Huh, interesting. Don't hear much of them in pop culture. Funny enough, there's actually a family legend that there's a puca that lives in the mountain forest behind the land my family settled on a few hundred years ago. Every now and then folks will say they saw it. A black dog or rabbit that seems entirely unfrightened of people and will sometimes be found sitting outside your home. If you give it a treat, good things happen. Don't and....well....you should give it a treat. Also, I think that was a reference to a certain invisible rabbit friend of a Mr. Dowd.
I really wish I could support you more, there is so many things that can be said about you Dreamy, and all of them beyond positive, your voice acting talent, story writing, hard work despite health issues, you interaction with your community, the way you respond to every comment, many things that have caught my attention like no other, and once you reach the 100k, 1M, 10M mark on youtube, ill be here to say I found you before that. Keep up the excellent work Dreamy, you deserve so much and more :)
Was it foolish? Yes, but I hadn't eaten dinner yet and hungry Frosty is not so logical. I really like this one Dreamy! The Fae are always so interesting and fun in stories, and do such a good job of portraying the strange dangers of the fae. The Fairy Queen's demeanor is so commanding and really portrays the slightly extra dimensional nature of her. I really like the descriptions way that you speak as her, with the poetic and threatening language really immersing me in the premise. It really felt like I fell backwards into Wonderland and now I'm screwed lol! I also really like the folklore that you infuse the story with as that's such a nice touch and really makes stories like this so interesting. I hadn't heard of a Puca/Pooka before, but now I'm gonna have to do some reading! These audios are also really useful, as when I encounter the fae, I will have some knowledge to keep myself out of trouble lol. I already avoid fairy circles and such lol! I'm really interested in the reference to the Pooka, I'm gonna have to look it up cause I have no idea! Love all you do Dreamy!
Thanks Mushan! I'm working on taking care. It's been a lot of bed rest for me, but at least I've gotten to get a lot of reading done, which always leads to new inspirations for new stories!
Oh, absolutely foolproof plan! Favor two I need to teach an ogre etiquette, he's been upsetting the fae villagers.. and thrice the favor we'll challenge that dragon over there to a spitting contest! I can't do it.. fairy dust flammable.
It sounds like the fae world is not a place I want anything to do with. Still, he was fortunate to find someone willing to help even if it wasn't freely given. Good story Dreamy.
While my knowledge on Pooka is very miniscule, my first introduction as to what they were was actually from one of my favorite video games of all time. That game being Odin Sphere: Leifthrasir. So once you described the features of a Pooka, I instantly thought of that. Part of the game involves making food from a Pooka's Kitchen.
The fae queen is beautiful. Honestly, it would be an honor to be by her side even if she's bossy. 😊Great audio Dream. Keep up the good work as always. 👍
I can't believe the listener did something that a police officer told me and the rest of my kindergarten class not to do.😆 Now the listener in for a "fairy" big surprise. Cool audio Dreamy! LOVED IT!!!😊💚👍
@@dreamaudiova As a die-hard fan of sadodere giantess audios, please don't interrupt a character of yours while she's hungry. I still enjoy your kitsune's catching of a borrower last year.🤣🤣🤣
💚💚💚💚💚 I would totally cross the veil in some way, I would be conflicted to work with the queen but if she's willing to help... it's my only option though my name stays a secret, but her fae highness can call me Zero, Arc or Arceus. 😅 I'm definitely going to get this wrong, but your puka description sounded like a version of the rabbit from Alice in Wonderland. 🤔
The listener drank to much absinth and saw the fairy for real but she wasnt as nlce as in the stories 😂...very good audio dreamy thank you and pls keep up the good work and as always to you and all listeners a nice and fullfilling day 😊
You could graciously accept because it is truly gracious, or because the Queen’s offer leaves no room to refuse, and perhaps you accept because graciousness is expected! Throws fairy dust in your face and poofs!
oooh my, Dreamy's enchanting voice with such power behind it. Sure you're not actually a fae? But this would probably actually happen to me, I always feel mean saying no to people giving gifts, it makes em feel bad. And dang, this queens words cut sharper than any knife. Who needs swords when you breath daggers right? But to the point, awesome job. Curious to see where this goes, and what debt a literal queen could want from the listener. Also, really happy to hear you're ok, since it means someone wonderful is getting better! (also is the reference harvey?)
_Dreamy, I may not know the Irish reference of this puka, but I am nevertheless reminded of a young girl and a white rabbit, for your voice is a Wonderland that rivals fae magic_ 🤍
I would be kinda worried about this situation however if i could word certain sentences right I'd be able to figure out a go around as always an amazing audio Dreamy love and appreciate you be safe have a great night or day and take care of yourself ❤❤❤❤
Hum being traped in the fey relm not the worst thing to happen. Wonder what debt we will owe. Must have been very hungry to have eaten that. Yah I might eat but I don't drink. I'd like to think I would have known beter or we aided the poke in some way for the food 😅 Love the audio Dreamy. 😊
I shall touch everything from the mushrooms to the tree leaves for as long as I am walking through theese woods, and there is nothing you can say or do about it.
The Fae have a very legalistic and capitalistic view on life don't they. Nothing for free, everything have a value or debt. Even basic manners or the kindness of sharing your food can land you indebted to a fairy. Have you even read the webcomic Angry Faerie? Here is a like and comment for the story, for entertaining me, to help your channel grow, to appease the great and powerful RUclips algorithm demon, and get you the recognition you deserve.
Mam perhase it was foolish to eat that but what is more foolish to starve to death when food is right in front of you or take a risk for a chance to live? Owning a favor to any Fae is dangerous. To owe the Queen a favor is thrice so. Tread with care while searching for the miscreant Pooka.

puca is old English for goblin apparently. They can be good or bad in their actions, depending if they like you or not lol.
@ Why thank you for the insight, Zedd! The first time I came across a puca reference was from Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Sweet Puck
Anand and Zedd, a duality of sweetness.
