Im in the process of scratch building a 1/75 ( 4mm to 1ft) model of Wharram chalk works. Not as easy as i thought, but its kept me busy through winter.
Really enjoying this ! Lots of familiar places ! Have you considered doing the same thing for the Driffield to Market Weighton line ?? Lot of that one is sort of visible! Also have you considered adding drone footage ? Quite often easier to see old layouts from the air !
Yea. I plan to walk that line as much as possible. A drone would be nice but It’s low on my priority list so far. But think it’ll be essential for driff to mk weighton.
Very informative. Thank you.
Very welcome. Glad you liked it 👍🏻
Very interesting and instructive how lime was extracted and shipped out,a good video.
Thanks. I was lucky to have a friend with me that day who works in the industry.
