Patong is a municipality in the province of Phuket. Phuket is located in the southern region of Thailand. In the municipality is Patong Beach, a well-known beach and tourist resort on the west coast of Phuket Island. The beach is approx. 3.5 km long and became increasingly popular, especially among Western European tourists, from the end of the 1980s.
Patong ist eine Gemeinde der Provinz Phuket. Phuket liegt in der Südregion von Thailand. In der Gemeinde liegt der Patong Strand, ein bekannter Strand und Touristenort an der Westküste der Insel Phuket. Der Strand ist ca 3,5 km lang und wurde ab Ende der 1980er Jahre insbesondere bei westeuropäischen Touristen zunehmend bekannt.
