In the movie she actually asks him like "What are you doing?!" the first time he yells Graves and then after the cops were alerted she ran back for the door to her mom's tomb so she in retrospect was very calm for the whole thing until she couldn't get in the door so, she could have easily grabbed his shovel hit him on the head and ran for the door. xD

One of my favorite songs in the movie....Anthony Head does an amazing job playing as the caring father hiding his killer side from his innocent daughter ..
