Driving Around - Rafina Port to Athens International Airport (ATH) "El. Venizelos"

Hello and welcome to our channel!
In this video we are driving from the central port of Rafina to the International Airport of Athens. Athens International Airport "El. Venizelos" serves Athens and Attica in general. It started its operation on March 28, 2001 and it was named in honor of the Greek politician and prime minister Eleftherios Venizelos. 2019 was a record year for the airport, as it served 25,573,993 passengers and 2022 is expected to approach or surpass that record.

How long is it from Rafina to Athens? Taxi the best way or Train?

There is no train from Rafina to Athens yet. Taxi is the best option. From Rafina port to Athens Downtown it's about 45-55 minutes with normal traffic. If you don't want to pay for a taxi, you can take the bus from Rafina to the Airport and then take the train from there to Athens.

Εννοείς από επαρχιακή Παιανίας - Λούτσας; Απ' ό,τι φαίνεται μάλλον ναι. Ίσως να το είχαν με έλεγχο στις πολύ αρχές. Νομίζω ότι μέχρι και το google maps βγάζει διαδρομή από εκεί.
