I'm a truck driver looking to replace my Galanz air fryer microwave combo that has stopped working after a year. I cook the majority of my own food on the road and am definitely interested in this appliance. Thanks for the detailed video. I think this will be perfect for me but i want to know, does it get very hot around the unit? During the summer, i have to be mindful of the heat i produce inside my truck as the objective is to stay cool lol.
Inside of a truck would be a smaller space than a kitchen, but I do not find a a lot of added heat to the kitchen but it does produce a lot of steam out the top of the unit especially in the combi meal functions. With that being said that steam that is coming out is definitely producing heat but keep in mind it is for a very short period of time. The combi cooks meals very quickly so in a confined space it may raise the temperature a bit. It is truly a remarkable machine. Thanks so much for watching! I
In the Soul Food world; we season & add everything all at once. Then we mix/fold it all up with our hands. I have never seen anyone mix meatloaf with a utensil. However, it does look good &’tasty! 💛
Woot! So glad I found your video! This is going to be my first meal in the Combi. I was skeptic about the potatoes being done too. I’m hoping I’m able to thicken mine at the end. I’m use to prepping them on the stove and then thicken with flour and then putting them in the over. I do like cooking them in the Foodi too. Thank you! 😊
You are welcome! This was one of the first meals I prepared in the Combi, hope you enjoy! Once you learn how it cooks the food the meals you can create are endless. The whole chicken is a must, you will be amazed at the flavor and how quickly you can roast a whole bird. ruclips.net/video/V16EFF61N7c/видео.html. Thanks for watching!
I usually have music or a podcast going while I'm in my kitchen mode, so I drown out the kitchen noise and focus on how good the food will be!😅 Thanks for watching!
I often use my Ninja instead of the microwave to reheat leftovers in the bottom pan. I air fry on 375-400 depending on what I'm reheating. I put the top tray in (empty or with a piece of bread) sometimes if it is dense like the meatloaf so it gets heated all the way through without being burnt.
@@realfoodprep AWESOMNE! I'm with you, if I can avoid reheating in the microwave, I will do it. BTW...The Combi make FANTASTIC toast!!!! Better than my high end toaster...one more appliance biting the dust!
absolutely you can, would not have to add as much milk I would think because cottage cheese is thicker. I use cottage cheese for higher protein. Thanks for watching!
I’m the only one in my house (I’ve had to put my husband in a nursing home) so I got some containers that are divided into four sections. I will make my own TV Dinners and freeze them and have several meals prepared for myself
This machine is perfect for meal prep like you are doing! I do this for our lunch meals to avoid the temptation of fastfood or food that is not good for us. Thanks for sharing and watching!
Did you add water to the combo unit because you’re supposed Comby means water you know not combination so there’s gotta be a little something somewhere that holds water so it can steam in there
I’m not sure I’m a fan of how much the door glass steams up to the point where you can’t see the food through the window. And what kind of damage over time might result on the inside of the oven from all that water…just me thinking….
Because it uses the steam to cook the food so quickly there is a lot of condensation when you are done cooking some of the meals and I try to clean this up as soon as I am done cooking. I have had the Combi for almost a year now with no damage from the water but if that is a concern you may prefer the Ninja Speedi. It is similar but doesn't offer quite as much cooking compacity but still can cook a family meal quite quickly. Thanks for watching! ruclips.net/video/vlYSzQI2GTk/видео.html
Thanks for watching! Sorry you don't like the Combi. There probably are better ones out there but for the price this thing makes amazingly quick and delicious meals.

I like the cottage cheese and cheese mixture for a sauce could you use sour cream instead of cottage cheese?

looked really good and as someone else said just open the door and it will pause
Yeah, I finally figured that out....I rarely read directions, I live by the code of trial and error 🤣 Thanks for watchibg
You can change the time and temperature while it’s cooking without opening the door and simply hit start.
What doneness was the inside of the meatloaf?
It was not pink but done and moist inside. Thanks for watching.
Mine took 40 min preheating today. I was so disappointed! Is mine malfunctioning? 😢
It does steam before cooking but mine takes more like 20 min not 40
Maybe I missed the part where he added the water but I’m just checking
I did not add water, this was combi meals, not combi bake. I only added what you see in the video. Thanks for watching!

I did not add water for this recipe. Thanks for watching!

That looks like regular hamburgers I make!
Yes a single serving of meatloaf cooks quicker than a whole loaf! Thanks for watching!
Ma'am, you can cook for me anytime!
Thanks so much for watching!
