If you do not know what the game is trying to explain then I will help you. The woman is suffering from mental depression and has a high chance of committing suicide. This is because of the mental heath ad and the note saying, “I am afraid I will do something horrible” on the bulletin board in fall. The black figure you keep seeing is actually the woman herself. This means that it was never murder. It was suicide. The woman knows that she already committed suicide so she time traveling into the past and solve puzzles to prevent her suicide from happening.
