Hey Jarrad, Scunny fan here, love the vid Wondering if you could do a Scunthorpe United rebuild, either as a retro rebuild or as a create a club/modded career mode on FC 25. Will provide more details below if you’re interested
Long story short we were ran into heavy debts by our owner trying to get us back to the championship, purged of all our best players, got taken over by a convicted fraud who lied on the fit and proper test, nearly got kicked out of our stadium, nearly went bankrupt twice, got saved by a GoFundMe, we are still in debt and still owe wages to former players and managers, and we are down in national league north now having been thriving in the championship back at the start of the 2010s. We have been in a huge slump recently and lost ground, but we are now back fighting for top spot, albeit having played a game or 2 extra than some teams
If you do a retro rebuild, 2016/17 was when we were at our best, 21/22 was the last time we were on fifa. If you do a modded or create a club career mode with our modern day squad, I’ll list them in a below message
Formation = 433(2). We were playing 532, but it wasn’t working and was the reason for the aforementioned slump. I still think 4222 would be ideal for us, but 433(2) has been working GK - Ross Fitzsimons Sensational kicker of the ball, genuinely at Premier League level. Shot stopping is very solid, he’s debatably our best player. Occasionally does too much with ball at feet or doesn’t cover his near post, but very good keeper. RB - Ross Barrows (can also play RM) Just picked up a horrific knee injury and is probably out for the season, so we will need a new RB. Inconsistent player and maybe not up to the quality we have in other areas, but he has his good moments and overall gets the job done. RCB - Will Evans (can also play CDM) Not been starting irl, but 100% should be. Great passing range, physically dominant and not the slowest of players. Struggles a bit under pressure from attackers though. LCB - Andrew Boyce In his second spell with us, very old and very slow. However he’s a solid tackler, very tall so good in the air and a competent passer. Borderline for whether I’d start him or not, but the other 2 CBs at the club aren’t in good form LB - Tyler Denton (can also play CB and LM) Ever since his leg break at the end of last season, he’s been such an inconsistent player. On his day he’s great all around, on his off days any part of his game could be off. I’d say he’s better defensively than offensively, but just generally well rounded. CDM - Michael Clunan (can also play CM) Club captain, I’d say our POTS so far. I really didn’t rate him last season, but he’s turned it around now. Great leader, vocal, aggressive, accurate passing, great tackling. Not good in the final third though. He takes our corners and some free kicks. RCM - Kian Scales (can also play RB, CDM, CAM) Very energetic box to box player, however he’s would be of better use in more defensive areas as he often looks lost in the final third. Solid tackling passing dribbling, good pace and great energy LCM - Alfie Beestin (can also play CAM, LW, ST) So unlucky with injuries, such a good and versatile player. Dribbling is his main asset, but his entire game is good. Mainly attack minded, but can put in the grunt work defensively when needed. This LCM role is more of a LAM. RW - Callum Roberts (can also play CAM, LW, CM) Generally regarded as our best player, and he’s defo got the most talent. Takes a while to get into games, but when he’s in it he is the best player on the pitch. Wand of a left foot, way too good for this level. Not the fastest but he’s the only creative spark in the team. Could be leaving soon as we’ve had a 75k bid come in for him and he’s out of contract soon. Takes most free kicks ST - Danny Whitehall (can also play CAM) So weird, a month ago I’d have said I can’t see him as anything other than an out and out ST. He was awful at CAM, but then got played as a false 9 and was incredible. Diego Costa type ST, but has now suddenly added passing to his game. Still a shithouse and a card merchant though. Takes penalties LW - Carlton Ubaezuono (can also play ST, RW, CAM) Pronounced uber (like the car company) - zar - new. Very pacey ST, struggling for goals so got shifted out wide and is now thriving. Fairly skillful, very energetic. Chases down every loose ball. End product is often missing and his left foot isn’t great. He’s a lot better down the right side. Very good player though.
Bench: (only 5 subs at our level) Brad Nicholson - CB/LB Started the season so well, fell off a lot during our recent slump and has been dropped from the squad since then. Left footed, good dribbler, good but inconsistent passer, great in the air, alright defensively. His long throws are a huge asset too. Could be sold to make room for a new RB signing Michael Kelly - LB/RB/LM/LW He’s looked so shakey recently, but before he was a solid rotation option. Never looked that great defensively, but offensively a real danger to opponents. Fairly well rounded apart from his 1 on 1 defensive abilities Max Brogan - CM/CDM/RB/RW Similar player to Scales, except a bit more physical. Unlucky to not get more gametime Luke Williams - LW/CAM/CM/RW Returned to us somewhat recently after a long time away from the club. Doesn’t look as good as he used to be, but still clearly has some ability there. Lost a yard of pace and is injury prone, however on the ball seems very capable. Passing and dribbling are still high end in the squad. Mark Beck - ST Only seen him play a handful of times, but he’s been utter dross. Out and out target man, but he’s doesn’t even compete for half the balls sent his way. When he does get the ball, he is completely unable to link up with a teammate. Useless.
Rest of the squad: Mason Campbell - GK Seems a good shot stopper, alright kicker, but never getting a game over Fitzsimmons Maxime Kouogun - CB/RB/CDM Starts irl, but god knows how. He plays like he’s on a 5s delay every game, so slow to react to everything. Every pass or clearance is like he’s playing Russian roulette, will it happen to find a teammate or will he shoot himself in the foot and give the opponents a simple chance to score? Joe Rowley - CAM/CM Only recently started getting some gametime and tbf has looked really good, just unfortunate for him that I wouldn’t drop any of the midfielders from the XI or the bench for him. Pretty good all round attack minded player, first touch has improved massively. Mainly lacking in pace if anything. Jason Law - RW/LW/LB Been injured, barely played, was poor when he played although he was being forced into an unfamiliar role in a bad system. Most likely candidate to be sold if needed to buy a RB Sam Fishburn - ST Got sent back to us after we loaned him out, got injured after 1 game there. Just looks way out of his depth at this level, a step off the pace and not physical enough to compete. Out on loan: Finley Shrimpton - CDM/CB/CM A very underrated player imo, very physical, good work rate, good passing. Should have been utilised more but our old system didn’t really fit him.
Day 9 of asking you to Rebuild the New England Revolution. They set the record in 2021 for the best season in MLS history but have now quickly turned into the worst in the league . They’ve also been in the MLS since its first year but have never won the MLS cup
Nice little idea! Would a Leicester City rebuild be available by chance? We are in a relegation battle and we lost the last 5 Prem matches. Leicester needs Mr. Rebuild
Rebuilds like this has inspired me to crate my own channel! Keep up the Good content bro!🔥

You're awesome! Humility that matches your success is impressive.
This was great! Would you do a similar concept but recreating Leicester city’s 15/16 team
“6 youth academy players and the premier league avengers save united”
hey, it's been a while since I've watched a video and you look good mate 👍 keep it up

inter miami broke their best season record
Would like to also have an Irish Captain CDM, but eh he was just the man and not part of the Class of 92’
Rebuild a current managers reputation e.g lopetegui and start with a lowly job and work your way through different clubs to the ucl
do a video like this with watford but make your own class of 25
Those kids on the thumbnail look like they're still in primary tho
Nice little idea! Would a Leicester City rebuild be available by chance? We are in a relegation battle and we lost the last 5 Prem matches. Leicester needs Mr. Rebuild
Best RUclipsr ever 😊
