"The poem by Mevlana Jalaluddin Rumi is beautiful, as always. He has spoken only beautiful words. He is one of the most significant poets who are also mystics. That is a rare combination; there are millions of poets in the world and there are a few mystics in the world, but a man who is both is very rare to find. Rumi is a very rare flower. He is as great a poet as he is a mystic. Hence, his poetry is not just poetry, not just a beautiful arrangement of words. It contains immense meaning and points towards the ultimate truth. It is not entertainment, it is enlightenment. Mevlana Jalaluddin Rumi, a Sufi mystic, simply made whirling his only method. His followers are called whirling dervishes. They whirl for hours - it is not easy. Jalaluddin Rumi himself whirled for thirty-six hours continuously, and in the whirling he became enlightened because in the whirling he got lost; only whirling remained. There was no one inside. There was utter emptiness and silence. The words of Mevlana Rumi are immensely significant. There have been very few people who have moved and transformed as many hearts as Jalaluddin Rumi. In the world of the Sufis, Mevlana Rumi is the emperor. His words have to be understood not as mere words, but sources of deep silences, echoes of inner and the innermost songs. He is the greatest dancer the world has known. Twelve hundred years have passed since he was alive. His dance is a special kind of dance. It is a kind of whirling, just the way small children whirl; standing on one spot they go on round and round. And perhaps everywhere in the world small children do that and their elders stop them saying, “You will become dizzy, you will fall, you will hurt yourself,” and, “What is the point of doing it?” Jalaluddin Rumi made a meditation of whirling. The meditator goes on whirling for hours - as long as the body allows him; he does not stop on his own. When whirling a moment comes that he sees himself utterly still and silent, a center of the cyclone. Around the center the body is moving, but there is a space which remains unmoved; that is his being. Rumi himself whirled for thirty-six hours continuously and fell, because the body could not whirl anymore. But when he opened his eyes he was another man. Hundreds of people had gathered to see. Many thought he was mad: “What is the point of whirling?” … Nobody can say this is a prayer; nobody can say this is great dance; nobody can say in any way that this has something to do with religion, spirituality…. But after thirty-six hours when they saw Rumi so luminous, so radiant, so new, so fresh - reborn, in a new consciousness, they could not believe their eyes. Hundreds wept in repentance, because they had thought that he was mad. In fact he was sane and they were mad. And down these twelve centuries the stream has continued to be alive. There are very few movements of spiritual growth which have lived so long continuously. There are still hundreds of dervishes. `Dervish’ is the Sufi word for sannyas. You cannot believe it unless you experience, that just by whirling you can know yourself. No austerity is needed, no self-torture is needed, but just an experience of your innermost being and you are transported into another plane of existence from the mortal to the immortal. The darkness disappears and there is just eternal light."

Many people commit this major sin unknowingly because their forefathers did it but Allah ﷻ is most merciful and will forgive if they ask for forgiveness from Allah, sincerely and if they don't pray to/through the graves again. Shirk is only forgivable if you're alive. Once your dead it won't be forgivable as you already had a chance in your life unless you didn't know about the message of Islam (proper Islam, not extreme Islam or lenient Islam) then Allah ﷻ is the best judge as he will deal justly with them and everyone on the Day of Judgement.

I respect the man but I never use Mawlan Jalaluddin Balkhi (Rumi) as Islamic way or islamic source!.
Anyone please 🙏 read Mawlana Jalaluddin Balkhi (Rumi) as Tawhid teacher in the form of poetry, philosophy or literatures.
Please please 🙏 be careful Mawlana Jalaluddin Balkhi (Rumi) did not create any kind of religion but he was fully Muslim and follower of MOHAMMAD ﷺ ❤
Very good news trt world pls show some more of rumi and of shab e arus urus, ☝️
Sufism was a glorious blessings of Allah swt upon Humankind. visits to Sufi dargahs or tombs offer different kinds of experiences-spiritual, devotional and peaceful. Medieval Sufi discourses preach the same, emphasising the need for tolerance and forgiveness.
THE PROHIBITION OF SHRINES
Jabir (radiAllahu anhu) said:
"The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) forbade that the graves should be plastered [made into permanent structures], used as sitting places [for the people] or building over them.

[REFERENCE: Riyad As-Salihin # 1767]
Sufism is a product of paganism of Persians and Romans by convertees that has nothing to do with Islam

Rumi is the man!
The West is always stealing history and people. Once upon a time we had poets like Rumi. In many parts of Europe, people lived in forests. When the reporter talks about a poet, he must say in what language the poet's poems were written. Rumi was a Persian-speaking poet. He wrote many poems in Farsi, but he has no poems in other languages

Any kind of innovation in Islam is not allowed. Sufism has nothing to do with Islam. May Allah save us from bidaah
Edit: Hope it helps
Apparently Allah has choosen not to save you from the bidaa of RUclips .
Can you please show me where in hadith Nabi Pak(saw) used RUclips ?
Bid dddaaaa
@@whatsgoinon5516 he means bida in religion
@@whatsgoinon5516 Bid'ah in religion is prohibited. That's what he meant and usually what people mean by Bid'ah is innovation in religion, not technical innovations, etc.
Im failing to see the religious element here ? Can someone enlighten me . Which part is the bidaah ?
@@whatsgoinon5516 Sufis worship the graves of righteous people (I don't know if all of them do) and worshipping graves is commiting shirk. Shirk is a major sin in Islam which is associating others with Allah as a God or a "middle man of some sort"
Some try to justify it by saying "We only pray through the righteous person to get closer to Allah" but that is still associating someone with Allah and that is a major sin.
What you seek is seeking you.
LOVE RUMI BECAUSE THERE IS NO JUDGMENT TEACHING WITH LOVE. 💜

Timing is an Iranian poet not Turkish.
He is born is born in Persia which Afghanestan and Turkey were part of it. And spoke Persian.
Our Regime is Islamic Republic and wanted to get rid of our history . They didn’t succeed . In the prep was let Turkey took advantage of their attitude and claim our poet.
He is Iranian as Afghanestani used to. He traveled to Turkey to live in the part of the country and died there when that was part of Persia. It doesn’t make him Turkish.
They are crazy. Claiming him but we will get him back when we get rid of this regime.

actully I am not a Wahhabi, and does anyone who criticizes Rumi’s ideas become Wahhabis..
So, If you read the Qur’an and the teaching of the Prophet Muhammad and understand them according to the Sunni method in Egypt. you will know that Rumi contravened the Prophet Muhammad.
Rumi was born in Northen Afghanistan. He was a traditional Islamic Scholar aka Mula, Molana, Molvi, Sheikh. He did his poetry in Farsi(Persian) language as Farsi was the fancalingua at the time in that region. It doesn't mean he was Persian or Tajik. Balkh his birth place traditionally has been the land of the Turkish nations ie Turkmen, Uzbek etc. Shams Tabrizi his teacher was also a traditional Islamic scholar.
Rumi was either Tajik/persian. Balkh was always traditionally Persian, same as Samarkand and Bukhara. All historic Islamic scholars were majority Persian.
Balkh is today’s Afghanistan it’s the land of people who speak Farsi there some other places in Afghanistan that they people are Uzbek or the others. If you think about all of his work is in Farsi not Uzbek which is completely a different language ♥️
@@binkster3121 they speak farsi, but they're not persian. in fact, persian is an ethnic group that is native to central iran. before the spread of Persian culture and language, northern afghanistan had its own culture and language. balkh was the capital of the Bactrians and they spoke Bactrian, not persian. language doesn't determine ethnicity. for instance, the arabic language spread to iran at one point, it doesn't mean that the individuals that spoke arabic were arab, they were ethnic Persian who spoke arabic. or for instance the greek language was the lingua franca for hundreds of years in afghanistan. we used greek script and practiced Greek culture, but it doesn't mean that we were Greek
