Welcome to the world of classic cars wee man the only thing now is to learn welding and there'll be no stopping you good job on shaping the metal too 👍 👏
Breath of fresh air you are buddy and you’re gonna make a fantastic little car there that’ll be worth a fair bit too. Well done for exceeding 4000 subs, proud of you man 😊
Actually doesn't seem too rotten. I had a 1983 1.2L was my first car back in 1994 complete with SR alloys and steering wheel. It needed both sills replaced as well as front wings. Still loved it though, even the maroon interior!
@Aidan__Galloway I bought a used gasless draper mig off Ebay for a few quid back in autumn, was getting pretty good at sticking bits together but not consistent enough to weld the sill on my mk4.... had to call in my m8 lol saving up for a gas set up 👍🤞
It’s good to see a young guy working on cars.. my eldest boy drives a fiesta st line but has no interest in cars, the middle one is an apprentice panel beater/painter but not into it like you 😂 And the young one has a racing sim in his room so fingers crossed he stays into cars. My first car was a wee red 1.0L Nova, it was the facelift one that you could take the hazard light switch out and put it in upside down, and that would put the red light on 😂 of course everyone knew that and snapped the barrel got in and tried to snap the steering lock. So my steering wheel was upside down 😂 My second car was a Mk5 escort 😂😂
Make sure to get entered into the 4000 subscriber giveaway it’s simple!

Great content mate, What disk did you use with the grinder btw?
Thanks a lot mate I used a few different types of discs but if you are wondering what one I was using for cutting the metal it was a laser cut one
