@@dstn3422 2018 was one year ago. Compare that streak to pretty much every other pro in hs, and thijs has had a pretty insane career. Sure, the last couple GM tournaments haven't been the best for him, but winning a major championship one year ago is definitely not "struggling to stay afloat."
He was the European Champion for 2 years, went 3rd place in HCT World 2015, qualified for HCT 2016, and won an Aston Martin last year, sold it and got his own house. Struggling to stay in the pro scene? I dunno about that
Could you please: Show both of the decks for every match. And stop saying incorrect things (some casters are worse than others). It just feels like the professional thing to do. I'm sure I'm not the only one who would appreciate this. Thank you
Yes it'd be ideal if commentators erred less often, but that's not the be all end all. What takes precedence is the level of engagement you get from the cast and that should be judged on a case-by-case basis.
@@dasstigma i mean if that's what you think then it'd be wiser to critisize other aspects of the cast, because your comment was not at all constructive (i don't think any of the commentators here aren't already working on minimizing mistakes)
This series displayed perfectly the vast skill difference between these players. Half of Thijs decisions are incorrect. Casters couldn’t analyse 2+2 properly.
Knew the Thijs fans would come for me. Believe what you want. If you’re interested in refinement and the specifics of my critique then let me know. Happy to discuss.
Маноил Младенов Yeah you’re right about that. Was thinking the same myself. It’s clean removal which doesn’t give hunterace the opportunity to spiral his lead with cleric. Thijs gameplan with warrior vs mage was defensive. It seems that he could have played an aggressive game and had a better chance of winning. Turn 3 omega assembly (maybe get a 2 drop). Turn 4 omega devastator into turn 5 zilliax pushes a lot of damage. Turn 9 play a tempo elysiana and pick damage cards. I was very surprised he didn’t take this line.
2:22 is the start of the first game
Hunterace is the new ropecoach of HS, the guy ropes every turn lol
Hunterace with these 20k dust decks
Gotta spend that prize money on something
Not enough removal for warrior this game lol
always wanted those two to play against each other they are top 2
except thijs is never in the top in serious tournaments since 2018... I love his streams but he struggles to stay afloat in the pro scene.

Game of the week: Thijs draws his deck perfectly and then Hunterace ruins his life
How can you call the third game "drawing his deck perfectly"?
@@MrCamel254 i think hes talking about the highlander hunter game for thijs drawing perfectly

Draco Malfoy plays Hearthstone?
Red Crusader that’s hunterace

Right?

@Arturo Carrillo Sure
wrong, zephrys is unfun and monotonous. he offers the same things that have no business being in certain classes

Thijs fails to draw brawl in 2 Games in a row. Clearly a lack of skill.
