While researching some information related to cybersecurity, the topic of game cracking was discussed. Rewind a bit. This was the very first cracktro I ever heard (don't remember the game it came with, might have been the original GTA?). It's crazy to think this was released in 1997. Where the fuck did all the time go???
The song is called "Cocopops", like the breakfast cerial, because that is where the sound came from... a jingle :) I sent you a personal message with a download link, because no links in comment allowed :(
I have to agree with cbkg11. There are many reasons why people did and do it, although I am pretty sure that because of a job they might get in the future is rather the exception than the norm. I would also say that the main motivator for kids to start writing intros and demos is to make the computer do something that they want. It's a great feeling that you cannot get as a passive computer user who just uses the apps that are out there and is limited by the limitations of those apps.
Starting with cracking has similar motivations. It is often the case that some stupid software imposes restrictions on the user telling him, what he supposedly can and cannot do with the software. If that -cannot do- is something the user actually wants to do and the only restriction to let him do that is a piece of code that can be tweaked a little bit to get around it, its not surprising that some users actually sit down and teach themselves how to do it and then do it.
In which programming langue was this written and how do you archieve this cool drawing effect? Whats the approach to it? I would like to program my own drawing animation. Thanks!
WOOO calvin ^_^ And Razor 1911 is so famous now! Just type it into youtube So many vids dedicated to him HE IS AWESOME! Gave me a crack for far cry 2 cus it didn't work ^_^
There is a link in my RUclips profile to a file share at Mediafire. Check the folder with the SAC Packs. Next to the packs are there archives by type of content and one of them has all the cracktros and intros. It is not big and the other stuff is not that bad either :)
Razor 1911 is *_fucking_* proud to present...
