I think the single most important thing that men got to realize is that women have depended on men's attention since the beginning of time. Thousands of years ago, a man's attention (or lack of men's attention) meant life or death for a female (and her offspring). Women, being the physically weaker creature, and the incubator of babies, wouldn't have been able to survive the elements (gather food, shelter, fighting off animals etc) without a man by her side. This is why till this day, women's lives revolve around men, and by that I mean, their thoughts, self worth, behavior etc all revolve around men. Like, when we're not around, ALL they talk about is men, "where is he, what kind of clothes was he wearing, were there other women looking at him etc, what does he do for a living etc".Start earhustling, and start paying attention to a group of women walking by, or when a woman is on her phone, notice how all the conversations revolves around "he"....."and then HE was like"...."and then HE got me"....."he also has his other friends".....

There's nothing a man has that I NEED. Not the validations, support, guidance, protection, none of it. It is great to have, but not required. And I will go so far as to to thank you all for controlling yourselves enough to provide a space where I am free to make that choice. Because afterall, the only person who would make it dangerous for a woman to express herself and make her own choices would be men.
