- Sometimes you get stuck in a dating simulator and have to sing-battle for your gf, so here's my a-cappella arrangement of Roses from Friday Night Funkin'.

Roses is probably the catchiest song I've done in a while. The melody was stuck in my head the entire time I was working on this song!! Seriously though this tune would have fit so well in an early Sonic the Hedgehog game (which might be why I like it so much) Oh, and the lead tracks are on the sides now to match up with the game footage :) which was taken from @FlippyFNF again because they're amazing at this game. My canon for Smooth McGroove is that he uses his ‘Vocal no Acapella jutsu’ and summons shadow clones just to do Acapella with him. You can tell which one is the real one because he always has a black cat with him.

Senpai and Mom are two of my favorite characters from FNF just because their songs reflect perfectly what their personalities are. Mom starts with a song withouth stress just because she's teasing BF, and ends with a hard song and a heavy drop to find if BF can keep her rithm.
In the other hand, Senpai starts with a sweet song because he's singning to make GF fall in love, but seeing that BF wins, he's just not happy and start to sing with a much agressive rithm, this time looking for humilliate BF instead of calling GF atention.
Or maybe not, it's just my perspective, anyways the song are very cool and i love 'em

I agree. You could really feel the back and forth between both characters with each set of songs, a conversation being held with rhythm and matching beats. That's why my favorite mods are Whitty and Sky as well. Whitty, because Bf is the one to start the battle even though he wants none of it, and Sky because she gets increasingly agitated once she realizes she's not getting her way.
And skid and pump sing spooky type songs , makes sense

Predicting it now, eventually Mr. Smooth will be a featured creator in this game. He makes quality covers of the songs that get valid recognition, and he is in touch with the fnf community even collabing with the likes of flippy. He is an excellent candidate for a feature, and last but not least the man speaks in boop ffs if the creators don't reach out at some point, I will be immensely disappointed.

Also not physically possible. These covers are great, but they're also midi-sequences - he records a ton of samples and then overlays them on a MIDI of the actual song, then records videos of himself 'singing' the music. If it's not obvious, listen to the sixteenth notes at the end. You can hear the exact same samples being repeated. Voice modulation that quickly and that precisely just simply isn't possible.

It's more likely a reference to how the idle pose has the left eyebrow furrowed and the right eyebrow creased. Left Arrow pose has both eyebrows furrowed, Right Arrow pose has both eyebrows creased (reminiscent of the famous "huuuhhh?" face Japanese tough guys pull).
Senpai is overly agitated by BF surviving the first round and going against his expectations. His combined surprise and aggravation manifests as the purple shadow, the sneer, and the whited-out pupils.
Given the nature of the VN Senpai is from, one has to wonder why it is that he has this reaction. My theory is that, based on how song 1 is all compressed instrument recordings, but song 2 and 3 use FM synthesis, Roses (and especially Thorns) weren't ever supposed to occur. Senpai's reaction path wasn't ever meant to be seen in-game, but was left in the programming by the VN's creator. Since FM synthesis only requires the sound chip, that music sequence could be something similar. Basically, drawing on "unused assets" is the system's Plan B after the intended song ended with failure for Senpai.

I always love to see the subtle genius of how Smooth places his own voice and camera recordings both within the mix and on the screen. The main back and forth literally takes place across the screen, and while wearing decent headphones you can actually in some ways hear the correct lines and see them with a sense of direction that follows the video feeds. I had never heard about Friday Night Funkin', but I'm a convert. Incredible.
