WOW! Wonderlust has grown so much since last year! I used to watch every new video when you started out, but since I've moved to a new country I haven't had much time for anything other than studies. I'm finally on summer break and get to relax with one of your videos, which have become so professional in terms of the editing and the way you present, but it still feels natural, honest and sweet, like your early vids. Well done guys!!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Your children are the most adorable and respectful kids I have ever seen in RUclips 💕 So friendly to others, so brave to walk such a long road, and not even scared to try new food like snails and more You two raise them well
Ah thank you so much, you are so kind 😊 I have to admit, our viewers get to see the best bits and it can be tricky to parent some times, but we try to do our best. Thank you again!!
Lara Croft is a video game character. She was created and launched in 1996 on PC. The character is akin to Indiana Jones; an archaeologist who discovers mythical tombs, treasures and fights factions that desire wealth and mythical powers for themselves. There're a total of 9 Lara Croft titles from 1996 to 2006. The series was rebooted twice in which her origins / back story were changed. The third reboot was in 2013. Lara Croft was recreated into a more realistic looking young woman to keep her in trend with the progress of graphic designs and game play. There has been three LC titles since 2013 with a fourth in the works. As Lara Croft is a popular character with the gaming community, Hollywood decided to make a couple of LC movies. None of which, well, truly resonates. Great to see you folks on holiday. 😄Cambodia! 👍👍 I wonder if anything would be done with the trees growing through the temple ruins because they'll eventually overtake and destroy the ruins. Uh uh, I wouldn't eat the cooked bugs unless I'm starving, although I heard they can be pretty nutritious.
I was in Ang Kor Wat 12 years ago and the absence of crowd now is such a stark contrast to what I experienced then. I also remember people coming up to me and selling their guide books.. that was before smart phone and of course Google map were prevalent. What a memory. Hope your family had a fantastic memory too and stay safe!
All the videos we saw pre-covid were packed with tourists and it felt like the whole place was open just for us. It did make for a lovely visit and exploring easily but we do hope tourism picks up for the local peoples benefit. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment. We have many happy memories.
Welcome to Cambodia 🇰🇭 Thank you so much for your sharing video about my beautiful Cambodia 🇰🇭 country specialist Amazing Angkorwat to show the world 🙏😍
A new experience by your family in Cambodia to learn about their culture and heritage. It really an eye opener after many years of restoration in Angkor Wat and other temples. It's an interesting vlog. Have a wonderful day and thanks for sharing. 😍
So beautiful temples, I have been there 4-5 times but never get bored of it, always amazing and magical experiences ancient temples. Highly recommended, a must visit and must see.
Thanks for sharing your video and Thanks for visiting my birth country Cambodia 🇰🇭 i left Cambodia to Thailand in 1979 during the war and immigrated to Canada in 1983 even i live in Canada for last more than 40 years ago but i always love Cambodia. And also when my great great grandmother left China from fujian province i think maybe 150 years ago for Cambodia 🇰🇭 some of my family landed in Singapore until now even my uncle still lived in Singapore we are back grown is fu chow. Thanks for your video again and enjoy your time in Cambodia take care bye from milton Ontario Canada 🇨🇦
Wow what a family history, thank you for sharing! What a beautiful country. We learnt so much about the war there, naively we didn’t really know much about it at all and we are so glad we had a tour guide to learn about the history.
@@WONDERLUSTworld Your channel is so wholesome and it's not over the top, I am very happy to comment and support :))) Have fun in Cambodia, but get ready for emotional damage when you go to see those genocide memorials in Phnom Penh (if you are going there)
Somethings have firm prices, we didn’t bargain with our tour guide for prices, In fact we gave him more at the end. Times have been tough over covid and we were in a position to bless so we did. We noted a lot of people in the area solely rely on tourism for most of their income.
Thank you so much for sharing this incredible location! It is one of the most beautiful place I ve visited, and I traveled a lot in the past. I hope to discover it back again soon with my kids. :)
Ayeee Siem Reap, Cambodia. There is a school there name "Hope School" I never been there personally but I did taught around 20-30 Cambodian students there an English Lesson roughly 1 and the half year back as part of my Community Service Trip. Have to do it via Zoom cause of restriction, it sucks but such a great 14 days experience.
I felt as if I were with you guys! Always happy to see kids enjoying their travel. They are alot braver than their American counterparts when it comes to eating bugs! Must be some experience and memories for them. Many thanks for sharing. Stay safe.
Thank you for sharing. My mother, siblings and cousins literally escaped Cambodia to Thailand in the middle of the night in 1979. From there it took us a year to get to America in 1980. My father and my mother's 9 siblings and parents were the among the 2 million people that were killed during Pol Pot and the Khmer Rouge leadership. In just one week I'm going to visit for the third time.
What an amazing experience you guys had! Loved watching Aspen, and I’m sure Milo too, how she was so brave and literally testing and tasting the bugs in her month! Brave brave girl! Thx for sharing your trip and some places that are also not the usual tourist route. So so proud of you guys ❤️❤️
Did you guys see a carving of a stegasaurus at Ankor Wat? I saw it at one of the entrances. It's so fascinating because it was a full body of the dinosaur depicted in the carving. The question is how did they know what this dinosaur looked like because it was supposed to have died out millions of years ago. Anyhow, you guys have an awesome family! Great vlog. Have fun and good luck! I just subscribed. :)
One of my favourite historial places to go to is Petra in Jordan. The 'Rose City' is simply amazing and we did a total of 400k steps from walking and exploring the lost civilisation.

Yes that’s true, we had one day set aside for temples and other things planned, we have two more Cambodia vlogs to come so do subscribe to catch them too. We saw a few people on push bikes and mopeds. E-bikes sounds a good idea as we did have a 5-10 min ride in between the temples we visited. Have a great time!
They check for the ticket half way through, so that some tourists who forgot to buy (or never know that they have to buy) can go back in a shorter distance.
6:31 just a little bit of correction here. The temple was originally built for Hinduism, hence the moat and the shape of the whole complex resembling an island mountain, per the Hinduism belief of mount Meru. It was later converted to a Buddhist temple after the Khmer Empire converted to Buddhism.
