Hello simply aviation, do you remember how much time was your tranfer/ layover in Riga airport ? i'm soon flying with air baltic with 40 minute layover in riga and anxious about not making it to the next flight !
Soft landings depend more on wind and runway conditions at that moment than on usual airline or pilot practices. If it's raining and with a lot of crosswind at the arrival airport, be thankful if the plane lands hard, even if it's unpleasant at the moment. Your life may have been saved by that hard landing, as otherwise the plane might have skidded and crashed outside the runway.

Noo, you got so unlucky!! AirBaltic is already replacing all the Boeings with new Bombardier CS300s. They've got a dozen on order already and I must say they are twenty levels above this! The flights on the Bombardiers are also much more comfortable due to the plane being much more modern and quiet. There's also a lot more leg room and the inside of the plane looks excellent!
It is a matter of pride to have a female pilot; it is very rare, almost never found in companies such as Turkish Airlines, Pegasus Airlines and Emirates. AirBaltic is a first.
Nice report! I think airBaltic is seriously underrated within Europe, even in economy with their pre-order hot meal options they put most of the big carriers to shame.
I agree, but idk if ur based in Europe or have flown intra-European business class, but it’s basically economy class with slightly upgraded meal service and baggage allowance, and the middle seat blocked out.

Yes it is nice and organised. It is easy to navigate as there is only one big concourse from where you can reach all gates.
