love the paddy roberts mention, he's been vital to how we play this season. and goes. a bit under the radar. I think he does a lot more defensively than most give him credit for, usually makes two or three good blocks a match and gets on with it despite being kicked around a few grounds
A comprehensive vid on SAFC Ash, nice one !! Good to see we're attrattracting positive reactions. If you want to see a great vid on our latest signing, try Altendings video, top analysis of him. liked n' subbed. 👍
Great video Ash .I don't see us maintaining a top 2 spot as the first team hasn't been rotated enough to keep the players fresher. No where near enough subs made during the games so I think our season might tail off I'm afraid simply through constant injuries and not a good enough squad
Chris Rigg is back from injury, mundle & Watson are back later this month, these young players are in their 3rd season in the championship now so know what the championship is all about plus Mepham,Ballard,Roberts,Paveda,Browne,Connolly, these are experienced championship players so we have a mix of youngsters & experienced players
Personally think they’ll drop back into a 4-4-1-1 once the squad is fully fit, we went 442 since we’ve lost majority of our wide players. But agree with everything you’re saying.
Great analysis, well done. Just waiting for the skunks to raise their tea towels with their negativity. We've a good team and just goes to show that the plan Speakman and Dreyfus put into motion a few years ago is starting to pay off. Not a fan of Speakman but i did and still do believe in the plan. I believe there are 2 possibly 3 players we need to keep at the end of the season and that's Mepham- he's been unbelievable this season apart from his red. Isidor- he's been great and the last is Le Fee- depending on how well he does but i think he'll be amazing also.
That first formation of the Stoke game wasn't correct. Aleksic is a midfielder and would have been used in the three with Neil and Bellingham. Isidor would have been up top, where Mayenda would have been on the right and Aouchiche would have been on the left. I'm a big fan of the two up top, as their pace is frightening to teams, but it comes at a cost to the middle of the park. It worked well against Sheffield United because the dynamic of the game dictated that they would have the ball and we hit on the counter, which meant the midfielder in the middle that was missing was less of an issue. However, misfielder issue became a problem against Portsmouth when weree expected to attack and they could play the role of soaking pressure and hit on the break. To compensate for lack of someone in the middle we moved Roberts and Aouchiche back to be in the midfield as wide midfielders. This led to Mayenda and Isidor could work togethee to play to each other's strengths and the midfield has to get the ball to them sooner.
As I Geordie I really hope they stay where they are. I hate derbies. We have very little to gain and the odds go out the window in derby matches plus the Mackems would happily see the world burn if meant they got to beat us while we are not as obsessed about it.
Thriving in the race to return to the Premier league hahaha. About 13 games ago they were about 2 points clear at the top, dropping from 7 points clear after 11 games (cant miss them mess up when watching football focus on a Saturday tea-time). I thought they were going to run away with the league and we finally get some league derbies after 9 years, but now i dont think they will win the playoff final.
@@johnord684 Also have the youngest average age squad of the 92 EPL & EFL clubs with the 21st biggest wage bill of 24 in the Championship. Amazing achievement, but for some prem club fans it’s all about money , the actual thing that has been ruining the game for years . Worst of all , where some of that money comes from . Well done Sunderland for revolutionising the club with promotion or not. It’s been an honourable transition
@PhilipGray-y5d because he's a mag... complete obsessive compulsive followage re Sun'lan. It's very odd, but not unexpected. Always having a pop, you know the big clurb picking on Sun'lan is sport to the knuckle draggers
As a Geordie I hope Sunderland get promoted back to the prem. More of the best derby in the country!
As a mackem I miss the free 6 points every season!
@ not gonna be seeing them for a while pal
We kept u in prem@@brett8674
Thank you for the complementary review of Sunderland and great break down. ❤🔴⚪️

Great video. Particularly considering it's your first!
Means a lot! Thank you!
Absolutely fantastic review young man! Keep it up. And you’re spot on about Robert’s I do believe he’s our best player.
Thank you!
Roberts isn't our best player.i would say mepham or isidor
@ in your opinion.

Great video mate. 👏
Cracking vid mate ❤
Great analysis. Our best players by far this season is Mepham along side Roberts. Other than his red he's been fairly solid at the back.
Brilliant analysis. I watched those games and pretty much missed all of that.

Brilliant effort for your first video mate. I will keep following your uploads. Are you a Sunderland fan yourself Ash?
His accent says otherwise
I am not I’m afraid… but I am a fan of Sunderland’s team this season!

Chris Rigg is back from injury, he played on the weekend against Stoke in the FA Cup. We however did lose Alese to injury in that game.
This video was made before the FA Cup game❤

Lee fee signed and rigg is back 5 first team players due back in March
Good video
Thank you!
And adding a player into the midfield in Le Fee, who is arguably the best player now in the championship, can only help them.

Wilson was upfront vs Stoke not outwide, that team formation is wrong you showed
Great review but we won't sign a striker in fact we are worse off since Clarke left and making mistakes now all over the pitch.
