    The tune sounds similar to Luang Prabang- is it the same tune base, or am I just hearing things?

      I also cover Luang Prabang! It was written by Dave Van Ronk and based off of Byker Hill. Byker Hill is the older song of the two!

    This works great with the Gurdy! Nice job. I think just playing chorded drones with some verses instead of the melody is a good idea. Another song that might work well for you is the Blackleg Miner
