Noto a Suzuki fan but I absolutely love that you guys do these projects and videos. It really shows that putting a couple thousand into a bike can get you 97% of what a new 250f gets you while saving thousands.
since they sent the cylinder to millennium technologies I bet the bike is fully modded. They do porting and decking as well as cylinder repair so I highly doubt that they would send a cylinder back to racer x without doing all the tuning on it. They have done a million two stroke cylinders so they know what works for each bike, I bet thats why he said this bike has better roll on power than he remembered. I had my 06 kx250 done by them when eric gorr worked there and it was the best two stroke motor ive ever had.
mx racer But did you hear when he said they went back to the standard tolerance? Still a good bike for sure, but i dont think it sounds nowhere near to what Carmichaels 250 did.

You prob figured it out by now since your question was 6 months ago but I’ll answer anyway. Two of the bolts from the newer fender line up perfectly so all you need to do is drill the other two and the number plate bolts up without any mods. Hope that helped.

musica generica you can put any new fender on a old bike that's a 125 or bigger , might just need to drill new screws. Or just use Cycras restyled gender

Kickstart Krew yep and the 4 strokes stick to the ground and are far easier to ride. You have those guys riding 2 strokes in Canadian classes and nationals every now and then and they’re hardly competitive at all. Sad deal!! Haha
Hey folks, save your money from buying race fuel. Aviation Fuel 100 LL is every bit as good as VP and other race fuels, and better quality control. The 100 LL Aviation fuel is good to about almost 16:1 compression ratio (250 2 stroke). On the dyno, the Aviation 100 LL makes every bit as much power as VP Race Fuels and its Specific Gravity is almost identical to VP C14. Obviously you need to jet for the fuel, but thats basic stuff anyways.
nice bike.... Tip : the the Fatty/shorty isnt at good choice for this bike.... you wanna go with the HGS system... there isnt much bottom/mid with the fmf

My 2005 RM250 is the funnest bike i have ever ridden, although i ride more modern bikes i will never sell the old 2 stroke.
Yup. I've ridden a few others (2t & 4t). The RM250 is like a big MTB with it being so nimble.

Did a full rebuild on a 01 cr250 and boy was it fun. Oversize piston with a sleeved motor. Baby was heavy but had awesome power.#keepumcoming

MXA has covered this. The new 250F are so fast and so stable that guys are able to outrun the old two strokes even restored.
