Wow, what a gorgeous song and video. The way Katherine had been teasing this project, I had a feeling she'd be taking a solo folk direction, and I was very happy to be correct about that. The last time one of my favorite metal projects took a shift like this was Myrkur's "Folkesange," and I definitely feel some parallels here. When Sylvaine released "Nova," one couldn't ignore how beautiful the soft, vocal-centric sections were. The whole record was incredibly lush, but those quiet moments where Katherine really got to show off her voice were truly stunning, so it's really cool to see her embracing that side to its fullest with this EP. I love the minimal organ in the early part of the song, and the way the song built with more layers was engaging. I'm so excited for the full release. I would support basically anything Katherine did, she's incredibly kind and humble (we met at her first North American performance in 2022), but this has me particularly thrilled.

The organ sets a beautiful base for this simple but powerful song and your dance beautifully expresses the emotions present. I noticed the flare in the sky at time index 4:26. A launched flare is a signal of SOS/distress and a request for help. Given the lyrics of your song, it would seem to fit. Is this the correct interpretation?
