  • This is a complete fan made documentary featuring the LJN WWF / WWE Wrestling Superstars figures from the 1980s. Look at all the stars of the early Wrestlemanias from Hulk Hogan, Macho Man Randy Savage, Rowdy Roddy Piper and Andre the Giant to Bret Hart, Ultimate Warrior and Jake the Snake Roberts.
This is a compilation of six previous videos I had done individually, clipped and slightly remastered to make an extended supercut / wrestling documentary. Enjoy!

I had both versions of SD jones. They were the jones Brothers. One was special delivery and the other was super delivery and they held the tag titles in my fig fed for years

They really made Big John Studd look better in his action figure than he ever looked in the ring.
Conversely, they really made Andre look ordinary with his figure rather than large and imposing.
Side notes: Why is Jake Roberts figure so small? In real life he's the same height as Hogan, but they made him so tiny.
Most deserving of an LJN figure that didn't get one: Smash of Demolition
Least deserving of an LJN figure that got one: Outback Jack

I'd love to know what the designers were thinking when they designed Rick Rude's figure to have both arms not just lowered, but also attached to the hips. After all, part of the appeal of these toys was that you could bend their limbs slightly.

Beefcake/Valentine were technically the third tag team set released. Because when Sheik/Volkoff were released so were Hogan/Hillbilly Jim for some reason.

    • @ToyKennections

Hmmm... good point about Hogan/Hillbilly. Though they seemed to be only a temporary on and off team though like Hulk/Macho, as opposed to Beefcake/Valentine and Sheik/Volkoff who teamed up on a more ongoing basis.
