- This is a complete fan made documentary featuring the LJN WWF / WWE Wrestling Superstars figures from the 1980s. Look at all the stars of the early Wrestlemanias from Hulk Hogan, Macho Man Randy Savage, Rowdy Roddy Piper and Andre the Giant to Bret Hart, Ultimate Warrior and Jake the Snake Roberts.
This is a compilation of six previous videos I had done individually, clipped and slightly remastered to make an extended supercut / wrestling documentary. Enjoy!

Tony's Figs
A Punk With Toys - Развлечения
I had both versions of SD jones. They were the jones Brothers. One was special delivery and the other was super delivery and they held the tag titles in my fig fed for years
That is the creativity that we lose as we grow up
This was an excellent idea to put together. Love reminiscing about the LJN days🤩
We wrestling toy fans gotta stick together 🤜🤛
@ToyKennections I agree! 🤜🤛
When I was a kid Big John Studd was my favorite wrestler I had his ljn action figure also had a couple of drink glasses with him on them.
Snuka's age didn't hold him back ... The fact he killed his girlfriend held him back.
I love a super-cut.
They're fun. Maybe I'll do another 😎
@@ToyKennections All of the true crime, deep dive, & film essayists I watch who do series over a year on particular topics release them. it's a nice way to revisit multi-episode things in one single video -- super useful for me when I'm sitting down to work on pages so I can have a long video to keep me company.
Awsome content, bro. You're not kidding about finding those 1989 figures . I'm still looking for big boss man and andre the giant with the singlet
I got mine on eBay
@@Jayseman79 if u don't mind me asking how much was it ?
@@DRAGOINTHEHOUSE couple of hundred each. But I needed them for my collection. Most I spent was for the Sgt Slaughter mail away
Great stuff here, Ken. Thanks for putting this together.
No prob. Thanks for watching!
Your knowledge of that wrestling era is most impressive👍.
Great collection, I hope you find the ones you need. You deserve them all.
Much appreciated! Thx for watching.
I've always heard rumors that if there was a 7th series, it would've included Smash and The Barbarian.
That would have been great!
Also Brother Love, Bad News Brown, and I believe one of the Bushwhackers.
They really made Big John Studd look better in his action figure than he ever looked in the ring.
Conversely, they really made Andre look ordinary with his figure rather than large and imposing.
Side notes: Why is Jake Roberts figure so small? In real life he's the same height as Hogan, but they made him so tiny.
Most deserving of an LJN figure that didn't get one: Smash of Demolition
Least deserving of an LJN figure that got one: Outback Jack
Great Video. Very Well Done.
Much appreciated 🤜🤛
Loving this channel!! Its like a history lesson then a tour into the greatest toy collection ever!!👍👍
High praise! Much appreciated.
ooooh yeeeeah brother! another great video!!
I'm still processing Bart going "oooohh yeah" in Macho Man's voice..
@@ToyKennections if you were a telemarketer calling me you'd hear it lol they have no idea what to say when answering the phone like that and hang up

nice work buddy subbed
Thx!
I swear I remember LOD figures on this line... Damn Mandela Effect
You must be thinking of Warlord with black trunks.
@@p.d.l7023 No, it wasn't that but maybe there was another brand that put out figures while they were in NWA or something.
SD Jones with the red or Hawaii shirt must have been one of the first variant figures.
When you had a wrestlers do a bump in the middles of that ring they'd blast right through it.
I remember my Jake Roberts ljn got run over with a lawnmower. I was so mad!
I'd love to know what the designers were thinking when they designed Rick Rude's figure to have both arms not just lowered, but also attached to the hips. After all, part of the appeal of these toys was that you could bend their limbs slightly.
Yeah totally. Kind of a useless pose.
Beefcake/Valentine were technically the third tag team set released. Because when Sheik/Volkoff were released so were Hogan/Hillbilly Jim for some reason.
Hmmm... good point about Hogan/Hillbilly. Though they seemed to be only a temporary on and off team though like Hulk/Macho, as opposed to Beefcake/Valentine and Sheik/Volkoff who teamed up on a more ongoing basis.
Seems like this video brought back some good memories for you 😎
I do have the first 3 series and have missing from the series the original Andre and also Terry Funk and my favorite is the Ricky The Dragon Steamboat I own a Bruce Lee type wearing black tights and black headband a true martial arts intercontinental champion of wrestlemania 3 vs machoman a classic match both figuers I do own and love.
I had all these figures my childhood I remember we would put ketchup on our figures for blood my childhood 😢😢😢
True story: Late 70s/early 80s my grandpop had a framed poster of George Steele eating a turnbuckle hanging up in his neighborhood bar.
That's an awesome memory. Fun fact ; it started in 67 I believe because of a fan throwing a pillow at him. He just bit it and ripped out the stuffing..💯
Is always good to remember what your family made for Americans
Thank you!
what series was Rick Martel in?

Very cool 😎👍 Lots of leotards and bad attitude 😂
And kilts and bodyslams and a few other things 🤣
