Thank you! I’m planning to focus on backup power solutions since so many lost power in the southeast during these storms of late. Gasoline was unavailable for days for gasoline generators so having even a small off grid backup system would have surely helped many!
Thank you, no structural damage from the storm, just near misses, feel very blessed after going through the winds and rain we had. Horizontal rain was interesting to see lol. Don’t want to see it again. Lost lots of timber though. Appreciate you! Have a blessed evening!
I like seeing the reviews in use. My Siekon battery can put out some amps. I’ve been happy with mine. That Batteria charger seems nice. Glad to see you finding time to put out a video and hope all is getting back to normal.
Almost bought a couple Ecoworthy panels on prime days but opted to go with some used panels cheap on marketplace some 495 watt panels hope to knock him down to $100.00 a piece. See if he bites.
Both you and I are about the only folks who have equipment show back up in more videos. Most reviewers are one and done! I like seeing folks who actually use the equipment! Trying to get back to a regular schedule. Still a mess all around though. Appreciate you my friend!
@@THEOFFGRIDMOUNTAINHOMESTEAD I know I just keep looking each day but some want almost the same price as new and I ain’t in a rush. Got 3 400 watt panels for $200.00 total. He finally just wanted them gone. I will feel comfortable with about 1200 watts more so if this guy comes down to $100.00 a panel I’m buying 3. Then I need to slow up on my addiction LOL.
I’m a little slack on glass, mainly because I haven’t wanted to cut out another section of woods. Hurricane cleared a spot for me, now I’ve got a new 3/4 acre clearing on a south facing ridge top. Perfect for photon farming!
Great video. Good to see you survived the storm. Too bad about those solar panels that failed after one year. I won't be buying that brand anytime soon.
Thank you! Definitely can’t recommend those panels. I’m going to replace with two 500W commercial bifacial on same mount when I get some spare funds. Should have done that to start with lol.
One has to take a break from things in a while. Nice to see that you are using the Isunenergy charge controller! I have 3 of them. Supposed to be 10A version, but they are most likely 20A because I have seen them dumping 20A into my 2 battery banks made up of 2 12.8 Eco-worthy 20AH batteries. Now, you got me worried about my solar panels, I have 8 Eco-Worthy 100W panels. been using them for 3 months and so far, has been doing okay.
I contacted for warranty months ago after first panel failed. Crickets from them lol. I figured as much. I haven’t heard about too may failures with the standard mono units from them but have heard complaints of overestimating their wattage.
Sorry to hear! maybe yours won’t fail, or maybe they might make close to advertised power, it’s hit or miss quality wise with some of the lower tier brands. Thought they were going to be great, but was wrong ☹️. Pop them out of the box and check them, might get lucky!
God bless you for helping people prepare for what happened and will happen!

Look forward to seeing some of the products demonstrated and the builds. Glad you were able to get a little down time.
Definitely needed some thinking and tinkering time!
God bless you! So glad you folks are ok! ❤

I’m looking for some commercial bifacial locally. Can’t always afford to buy a full or half pallet!

I hate to hear about them
