Others say that their bias group had been through 'shit'... but I don't think they have been through the kind of 'shit' EXID have been through. They were so poor then that they couldn't even afford to house all the members under the same roof. All they had was ramen, they couldn't go home during chuseok because they didn't want their parents to worry about they lack of appearances on variety show. Even so, they didn't cry in front of each other and constantly encouraged one another. Up and down was their final chance in the music industry.... I'm really really glad it worked out for them.
Thier story is truely inspiring .. they are from a small company so they had to 'earn' thier fans not inherit them like the big companies. They had to borrow money from thier families to continue .. they went through thier much publicize split and change management cus thier previous one was doin shit .. they did gorilla concerts in the freezing cold with horrible audio equipment .. you are so right that these girls have gone through so much shit but have always smiled and believed in themselves .. they are a true inspiration !!
4mExid 4ever when did EXID debut? :) I also know a boy group that went thru what this girls experienced :) Id say, EXID might be one of the underrated girl group now, but their efforts and will to perform will be reconized. Doesnt matter how big the amount of fans other groups from big companies have. What matters is their loyalty to their fans and everything will go back to them :D ( just a side-viewer here, hahaha!) The now Exid (5 members) redebuted in mid 2012 with "I Feel Good". I know you didn't ask for the whole history of Exid but I tend to get carried away XD. And I have to agree with you... groups from smaller and less known companies don't have to chance to "inherit" fans as compared to bigger and well known companies. Thus, they need really loyal fans!

Then when the show got greenlighted to actually be on TV week after week, Solji was invited back to kick off Episode one with a special performance. That's why she takes the mask off sooo soon, and why there are flashbacks in this performance.

Such a great voice. I'm a fan of Hani because of her dorky personality. I haven't really stanned them as a group. I listen to their bop songs though. I was too focused with other girl groups that i wasn't able to pay that much attention to them. I always thought she is underrated because EXID wasn't popular at first.. then Hani's fancam went viral, and I am glad it happened because I know Solji only needs people to try their songs for once, then they will start loving her voice! I love her voice, and by listening to the teasers for "Ah Yeah", I can really anticipate their comeback! Love EXID

Such a great voice. I'm a fan of Hani because of her dorky personality. I haven't really stanned them as a group. I listen to their bop songs though. I was too focused with other girl groups that i wasn't able to pay that much attention to them. But now I got my eyes on Solji, I hope she recovers soon so she can join her members for the next comeback.

That run at 1:57 is unreal. If I didn't know how great she is, I'd swear it was autotuned. This was still early days into EXID's breakout to popularity. If Hani established EXID as a visual group, Solji secured EXID as a vocal powerhouse. The emotion of their talents finally being recognized is clearly seen in Hani's expression.
