- जानिए कहां हैं कंकाल झील का अदृश्य किला जहां बेहिसाब लाशों का एड्रेस मिला, हिमाचल पर्वत पर समुद्र तल से 5000 मीटर की ऊंचाई पर स्थित रूपकुंड झील वर्षों से एक उलझी हुई पहेली है. झील के चारों ओर कई सौ वर्ष पुराने नरकंकालों के अवशेष बिखरे पड़े हैं. वर्षों से ये रहस्य बना हुआ है कि ये नरकंकाल किनकी है और इनकी मौत कैसी हुई है. इसी वजह से यह कंकाल झील या रहस्यमयी झील के उपनाम से भी जाना जाता है.

These are the bones of the khas and shak people that are the ancestors of garhwali, kumauni and nepali people. When khas and shak people migrated from central asia to himalayan belt, they faced harsh weather conditions due to which some of them were killed on their way to uttarakhand and Nepal. Before the migration, Himalayan belt was ruled by kirat people that are the ancestors of mongoloid people living in Uttarakhand, nepal and northeast india. The people living in today's nepal and Uttarakhand are the result of mixing of khas, shak and kirat races.
