Hey, David I was searching the web for specific answers to replacing a policy and you hit it right on the head. I have Pastor in California who I believe is paying too much. He is both paying for his mother's polich and he is paying for his own family. I have attended this pastors chruch in Los Angeles and he is like family and I am trying to help.
If you are talking about my books, I like the Interviews books for agents who are getting some traction. It's very useful to see what top producers are doing so you can emulate their success.
Can you cover the Insurance Code in California it is a very important topic and it is hard to find answers on the web. Thank David! I am a new fan of yours and yes I will lookn for and buy your books.
I am not trying get him to fax over the policy he is paying for his mother and his policy. I am seeking to do a policy review to offer the same benefits at a lower price. California is a tough regulator with the average fine being $10,000.
Great video Dave! How do you make sure to have the incumbent policy cancelled before you leave? Have the client call the carrier? Do hours of operation play into that? I think you mentioned having them cancel the bank draft on the clients end as well. I've never done it and have been failing in the replacement department. Thanks so much!
First, try calling the company to have the client cancel. Second, take a signed paper with their signature and policy information and fax it to Customer Service. You can request bank draft stoppage and policy cancellation like this with most companies. If you don't know the fax number, just call and ask customer service for it.
Dave, I have been contacted by an insurance company called Liberty National. I was wondering if you had any opinions on working as an insurance agent for this company.
Sounds like you're selling in Alabama. Used to run into their product all the time. They are a captive outfit, and most likely won't provide support for lead generation beyond the usual Project 200 advice. If I were to work at LN, I'd request a list of current clients who are orphans, meaning they writing agent is not actively licensed anymore. Go pay them a visit and make product upgrade recommendations and cross sell other products.

Making sure that your client is comfortable with their decision is a golden nugget.
Agreed!
Great video
Thanks!
Which book to start with if you've already started in the business?
