Love this series! Still wish that it showed more of your build process instead of just the final results tho. I love seeing how it was all put together! Congrats on the shoutout from frontier by the way!
A mountain that stands out in the middle of the theme park, where you can see it from the hotels, the tram and from the front of the entrance to the park. A log flume or a roller coaster that intertwines and runs through the mountain itself. Think something like Matterhorn. Love the videos so far, Sdan! I'm invested, keep it up!
Thank you so much buddy! I cant wait until Saturday when I can really sit down again and start really theming out this entrance and figuring out the ticket buildings etc 🙌
That’s so cool about frontier SDan! Curious to see how all of the “lands” come together. I’ve always loved your theming. I know we’re past Halloween but I love a haunted forest, some campy spooky werewolf dark ride/coaster (or if Tennessee has its own urban legend animal) that would be really cool. I’m more of a zoo nerd than a coaster nerd but have absolutely fallen in love with this series! Can’t wait to see what’s next. Thankful for this series!
If you’re looking to expand the space of the park a little bit, you could always turn that area where the river cuts into the park into a boardwalk style area! You could turn it into a “classic” arcade style area with booths that have ring toss, the test your strength game, etc. Or the other idea is a restaurant like a Landry’s seafood or a Saltgrass/Longhorn steakhouse that sits over the water with a back deck where people can eat overlooking the river!
AMAZING PROJECT! Seeing a mine-themed coaster using the new multi-dimensional coaster would be awesome. It could include a switch and tilt track, fitting well into the wilderness theme. It could be the park's mystery mine-type coaster if you want a dollywood-type vibe.
This is so amazing!!! Im really looking forward to the theme park side. I know it will be phenomenal ! I’m really starting to get into planet coaster 2. With continuous updates and new features it will be the best theme park sim.
Like always you are just simply amazing in your creativity. I look forward to also taking the time to watch your videos and builds you are making and I cannot wait until you drop this on the workshop! 🤩
I know that you’re going to end up connecting the trams and buses from the theme park to the water park. But since the resort is purely decorative for now I would also like to see the monorail actually be useful and have it secretly connect to the waterpark somehow through paths. I know it’s not it’s actual purpose but yeah just a suggestion I thought of while watching the vid! Love your park and congrats on the frontier feature keep it up!!!
SDan! I continue to love your build :) I have two suggestions! First, I think your theme park area parking lot is too big. Remember, with the monorail and the resort on the water park side, you'll have many guests parked over there taking the shuttle over. I'd cut down on the parking nearest to the river to buy a little more space. Second, you should try to create some sort of indoor complex for the park. That way your guests will have something to do in all manner of weather. I think something like a dark ride, some shops and a "show" would fit in there. Maybe like at Hershey's Chocolate World? As always, keep up the great work!
Yes. Before that i thought a higher coaster element towering a bit above the treeline where the monorail takes the curve would ve nice. Still thinking that tbh
I was really worried at 1st I couldn't get this entrance to come together but man I am excited for Saturday where Im going to be really able to jump in during the day and get some work done!
SDan is gonna be famous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love it!!!!! Thank you sooooooooo much for sharing your work. I'd rather play your park than build my own...It's just amazing and beautiful!!!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D
Your videos is inspiring me to get the game and build my own mega resort. I’m thinking of a Paramount Studios theme resort with a Star Trek, Transformers, South Park, and Nickelodeon theme land in the park. And seeing how you built the Hotel/Water Park got me really inspired. Great work, dude!
In terms of theme park ride ideas, I think a splash mountain style log flume ride is a must, as would a rocky runaway mine train type ride maybe closer to the back. I'm also partial to some kind of ferris wheel at the edge by the roadside shops, peeking over the treeline. One with lots of lights to really add to that street after dark. Beyond that, I totally agree on the vibe of seeing that tower as you roll in on the monorail! Also congrats on getting yourself featured by the devs like that! That's awesome, and totally deserved 👏🏾
This is so cool!! I’m loving this so much and I’m slowly forgetting that this game is Planco. Like I feel like I’m looking at some kind of city builder game. Like I genuinely completely forgot all about this being Planco half way through this video, like your talent for building is incredible and the fact this is just the start I’m so hyped for the next creations to come!!
For the sidewalk as you leave the resort: maybe separate pedestrian traffic from vehicle traffic. As you have it now, cars would be turning into and exiting, and pedestrians would be walking into that traffic to get to the sidewalk.
From Tennessee myself, love the Dollywood aesthetic style so far. As a huge fan of roller coaster tycoon and just now getting back into games like this, just curious but I would love to see the actual build process and all of it coming together. Do you ever upload those styles of videos which I understand how long those videos could end up being but was just curious. Would love to see your creation come to life while watching the process
Thank you buddy! I do occasionally but honestly I feel like it stifles my flow if that makes sense? When I record myself I don't feel as free to experiment like every click is being judged or Im subconsciously worried that people are like, what is this crap? So I typically just build off camera haha
The big question is how you want the park to feel while gettin to it. I think 1 or 2 elements of a coaster slightly above the treeline at the monorail-curve would give a nice tease when coming from the highway. Like the station of the coaster placed in the area behind Pals or the pirate restaurant and the layout of the coaster in the area between the treeline and the entrance
I really hope they keep doing what they are doing and still throwing some bones to these kind of builds. If we can get unlimited spawn points in sandbox and the ability to null out the visible texture/mesh. maybe even a more in depth setting for that to add collision or turn it off on some items. even null barriers instead of the in depth setting would work along with the texture visibility toggle.
Congrats on the dev acknowledgement! It's looking amazing. You may want to consider a Suspended Coaster a la Big Bad Wolf. These do great zipping and swinging through wolded areas
That's a great suggestion! I'm definitely thinking about adding some coasters to the early lineup! Was even thinking may do a 'western area" near the entrance off towards the left
Is it me or does the monorail going fast? Definitely going into the station slower would be awesome! Sillvertt pulled through with the poltergeist! You guys are awesome!
🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 it looks incredible. To keep with the vibe throughout the resort but have distinctive lands and stories within the theme park. Some themed land ideas: Granny Smiths Apple Orchard, keep it with that country/mtn/wilderness vibe but with a pop of color (also a nod to the Carowinds/Dominions minor attempt at a themed area with twisted Timbers and copperhead😅) other lands could be a little river town that is powered complete by water. River Landing or something. Give an opportunity to tie in the aquatic theme and the wilderness theme. Last land idea I have is a Wilderness camp of sorts. Have a lot of areas for kids to explore , ropes course through trees, play areas. I can’t wait to see what you come up with on this side of the resort 🎉
It would be cool if you brought the entrance sidewalk out further so its a little closer to the intersection, and then in front/beneath the monorail have giant letters for wilderness springs. Make it so its visible from the highway and also the people walking would have a little photo op area before entering
How you have time to have gotten this far with the park, considering the amount of detail, is beyond me 😂 I've just spent a week and a half on just my park entrance, which isn't even large
haha just keep detailing buddy! A lot of times when I get big sections done, I'll circle back a few times and just keep thinking of what clutter and details can be added
Tbh, Rookburgh in Phantasialand made me realise how much parks are missing out on the Steampunk theme. It is so flexible and has tons of inspiration online. Especially I would love to theme parks coming up with ideas for riverside or coastal steampunk.

It would be about this made-up story of how settlers found this spring and noticed it having some kind of magical properties that made their machines more fantastical. And that in turn motivated young tinkerers from more urban areas to move to Wilderness Springs and construct wild inventions.
Maybe you can build a launch coaster like nubis the ride at plopsaland de panne in belguim its a smal launch coaster that goed 90kph 3 inversions it realy compact and the higest point is 30 meters and 600m long i think its also in the nature a realy fun coaster you can try to build

Tell me if I'm wrong. But is it your settings or RUclips's compression? Because other videos look sharper for PC2, despite the known cartoony look for PC2. I have been playing PC2 for a few weeks, then went back to PC1, and I feel the original looks better.
Hmm not sure buddy, I know the frames have dropped quite a bit now that the park has gotten larger, do you think that’s the issue? It could just be my Adobe settings as well
@@Sdanwolf I meant the whole track if you slow the speed of the monorail. Oh really I never played PC but casual fan enjoying others playing. There is no option to slow down the speed? wow. I played RC Tycoon and in that you can change the speed. Wow thought it would be already. Thank you.
I'm not super familiar with how the game works and I was wondering: If you're building a water park and a theme park in one map, do they function as two separate park, or does it function as one park, meaning that there will probably be a lot of people walking back and forth between the two, instead of staying at either parks? Would really appreciate getting some insight in how that would work. 🙂
@@kh4487 Correct! It will technically function as one large park with separate spawning points for the guests. You can place various spawning points but I’m hoping in regards to the buses and monorail that they may ride to both the parks on their own 🤞
@ thats another thing I wanted to ask: so the busses are basically regular attractions in the game and don’t drive freely between designated areas, right? Like, they have their own „track“ basically?!
If going for realism, you should consider moving the theme park proper's vehicle exit. Having the exit and entry lanes merging into one small space would be a nightmare in an actual scenario and wouldn't be done at a major resort. At least not without physical separation and more clear signage.
I updated the blueprint and now it doesn’t even show up anymore. And it doesn’t even show up on your workshop. It only shows on the front page of the workshop
@@cassidymarsh4680 Are you playing on console perhaps buddy? If you’re on console unfortunately you won’t be able to access it anymore because it’s moved beyond the allowed piece count
Wouldn’t a flyover from the waterpark entrance to the themepark not make much more sense? Then you would have one exit from the highway for both the themepark and waterpark.
Well-deserved recognition from Frontier to feature your work. You do some fantastic and creative parks!
