  • The teaser for the next Mass Effect game shows the image of what appears to be a relay orbiting a planet. After the conversation between Liara and the Geth was decoded, Mike Gamble tweeted that more visual clues still hadn't been discovered. I think I've found one.
At 35,000 feet and above, it is possible to see the curvature of the horizon, proving that the Earth is round. The MR7 appears to be in low orbit, and yet the horizon is not curved, but completely straight. This means the "planet" isn't round, but flat. And where have we previously seen a flat world? The 2020 teaser trailer.
As I've said in a previous analysis, this discworld is probably located in the Far Rim or Perseus Veil. I originally thought the Geth created it, but now I'm not so sure. The file with the audio is titled "Satherium system."

    Sorry it's rather slow paced.
Mass Effect belongs to EA and Bioware.

So, do you think the flat horizon is due to 1) artist error, 2) a huge planet, 3) the disc seen in the teaser trailer, 4) some other reason?

@@m4dmaxx363 I'm pretty sure any size planet will show some curvature from orbit. The concept art from the Bioware 25th anniversary book has a similar picture and two other pictures that could be taken from the same place, which I believe is the disc from the teaser trailer.

@@m4dmaxx363 Were those planets gas giants? This one seems to have rivers on it, which makes me think it would be smaller if it were a sphere, but I'm no astrophysicist.
