    G'day everyone, I completely forgot the price. They are $389. Also, MAP has given us 10% off all products on their website. Use 10%OTBW for the discount. Cheers!

    If you like the induction noise of your Tuareg, just remove the snorkels on the air cleaner lid of your 800DE. You don't need to take the air cleaner lid off. Just the seat. Push the hose down and fold it where it goes into the air cleaner lid. Comes right out with no damage. Sounds good on hard accel, throaty! Might even put one back in??
    I like what you're doing with your DE! Thanks for the good videos. Fun to watch!

    You'd think the bike would come with the crash bars like the GSA. Looks good. The black blends well. On my Versys I have black Givi crash bars and you can't even tell they are there - the black on black hides it. I think crash bars are essential even if you aren't off-roading in my opinion.

      Suzuki offers two 800DE models, standard and Adventure. The "Adventure" comes with the addition of hard hard-paniers, a metal skid plate and full engine crash bars, it also comes in a nice blue on black color way. Here in the US the Adventure is about $1100 more than the standard 800DE

    Bars are always a pain to install. You’re right those were a relatively easy install. Quality stuff.
    I bought the Tusk brand for my 2018 KLR and it was missing some hardware. I got in touch with RM/ATV and asked for a hardware kit and they wouldn’t provide one. Told me to go to a hardware store. So I asked them to provide me with the sizes, they wouldn’t. That ended my days of buying Tusk products.

  • @stevesanelli90
    @stevesanelli90 Год назад +1

    They definitely suit the style of the bike & look quality. I always tend to think that even after development, testing of add-on parts, the welding & powder coating the shape can “deform” slightly making installation just a little bit tricky. The LHS connector location is always where you need to get to on some bikes. Can it be zip-tied to the tab itself somewhere? Otherwise, quality 👌
    Did you look into the bolt that connects the bar end & plastic handguards? Can you provide a photo of the bar end bolt? Cheers,

    I picked up an 800de last weekend (in the US). Also a bit shocked the aftermarket is so barren. It's a toss up between these and the SW Motech set. Not sure which I'm going with yet. But as the riding season where I am is nearly over I think I'll just wait until spring and see what my options are.

    Would it be possible to mount auxiliary lights to these bars in a way that protects them (the lights) from falls? With the OEM bars, it seems like the lights might be the first thing to hit the ground in a lay down. Thanks!

      nice to hear about the seat, I was referring to the lack of chain guide on the bottom of the swing arm, the DE doesn’t have one and they are designed to help the chain from coming off which has the potential to damage a case I am quite keen on picking one of these up but this is the only thing holding me back
