What's a CS:Go? I searched Steam and didn't see any such listing for any such Counter-Strike game by any such title. Is this another one of those Nexon spinoffs?
DepoSit noticed that a lot of CS:GO maps have actually disappeared from the workshop with no apparent reason. Maybe that's a good topic to bring to light, because a lot of CS:GO history and content are now unavailable for most users
CSGO maps seem to be getting delisted and deleted from CS2’s workshop (as of since ~month ago). CIS youtuber DepoSit made a couple of videos about that, but in short, it seems like old maps are not considered useful enough to have them, although, fortunately, all the maps were actually downloaded by him (and other people) at some point, and i think there is a way to download them. Yep. It shows they weren’t confident that players would move to cs2 from csgo they forced them to. It’s the same shit blizzard did with Overwatch 2 and yet valve faced almost no pushback on it and they’re always seen as the good guys even when doing very similar practices to companies like Activision / Blizzard. As much as I wish they didn't replace GO with cs2 so it wouldn't be so hard to get an occasional nostalgia fix, I understand why they did it this way. I rather appreciate being able to use my csgo skins in CS2.
anyone still here in 2026?
This is a pretty big ask, but would you consider porting fenestration to cs2?
I just want to play the operation coop maps again.
og no where did my cs gooooo?
How to play CS 1.6 in 2025:
1. Open Steam.
2. Launch Counter-Struke.
Guess I'll just wait a few more days to play this then.......
Is there a good way to still play 1v1s on CSGO workshop maps?
I used to love playing aim_rogue (the randomized 1v1 arena map) against friends and the currently available 1v1 maps in CS2 just don't compare :(
We tried to get ROGUE running on our own servers but sadly it won't work. We think we know what's wrong though and might be able to fix it with some help from the author.
Step 1. Become the fart master
Step 2. Profit
How big are the chances for catching a VAC ban for chaning the inf file?
You arent getting vac banned this
You are just putting the current cs2 id so that csgo server browser works, since it has the same cs2 id, nothing has changed here (technicallly)
csgo workshop search is broken, missing tens of thousands of maps that were there previously, before cs2 it had over 100k maps, but now only ~20k, even those that aren't deleted or privated don't appear in search for some reason
Better of using 3rd party sites like game banana. Workshop was never viable for csgo mapping for several technical reasons like fastDL.
"comedor de mosca" ("flying insect eater")
"cria não cai hvh" ("real ones from the block never fall - hvh")
😂😂 3kliksphillip must've been shocked when he entered the 1st community server he saw.
fun fact: a lot of the hackers are still playing HvH in cs:go because they prefer how it worked!
Any other Linux users not getting the option to launch into go anymore?
Is making a server still pretty easy or does this legacy version make it more difficult in some way?
these russian serv looks like my 1 of 5 matches experience
does the "open the steam overlay in the play tab" trick still work to find csgo servers?
TY TY TY TY TY
All we want is cache in cs2 fr
