What I've gathered from this b-side is about them as NMIXX in their career. Like a song towards their haters. Their 'Young, dumb, stupid' but so what, they've got room to grow hence the Frere Jacques nursery rhyme. How they're perceived by haters and their mixx pop genre being controversial. itsANDYandJAS explain it pretty well in their reaction video. ruclips.net/video/pThReLP2FOg/видео.html
I think that the song talks about how their concept is, unpredictable and in your face, and how they will enjoy experimenting despite of the backlash they may get for being unconventional
i love this song i know its not for everyone but it sm fun to sing and dance to and makes me unreasonably happy. happy nmixx is able to shake up their discography and don't forget they have their first EP album drops next week! edit: the chorus is frere jacques nursery rhyme/lullaby hence the ding dang dong lol
The chorus is using melody of the nursery rhyme Frere Jacques. This is a bside to the upcoming mini album Expergo. Title track is Love me Like that. This is Mixxpop where they mash songs together. And yes 6 members:Haewon,Lilly,Sullyoon, Bae,Kyujin and Jiwoo
I think the lyric-wise, especially 2nd verse, means about NMIXX themselves where people think they are not gonna make it, saying they're a FAIL and NMIXX saying they have their own way and lastly Haewon says to follow and support them before they become soooo big!
Also i feel like this songs is them saying what if we are dumb and stupid? At least we are not afraid to be ourselves even ig it doesn't please everybody
Great reaction, this song is basically a disstrack to a lot of people who are saying nmixx are young, dumb and stupid, that they won't make it in the music industry etc etc. Their response is basically in the form of a nursery rhyme to indicate how childish some of their critics are, that they deserve a nursery rhyme. I know it's done in a very cute way but it's actually a pretty savage response to some of the troll netizens they are probably always dealing with. Also I think the song is also about being confident in your own skin, even if you have stupid unrealistic dreams, follow them.
@@II_II555 There is no such thing as a "good song" as art is subjective, I thought this was common sense but here we are. Also calling someone stupid for music you don't personally like itself is stupid. This is pretty much diss song at the next level. Also haewon in the end said we know what u want came before its too late. The moment nmixx getting serious their song is just unfair because how strong and versatile their vocal is compare to other group. It just a matter of time before they got recognition from US. Dare i say they will probably feature in us soon enough especially if korea still sleeping on them
I'm convinced that he simply relies on recommended content and doesn't take the time to truly delve into the artists themselves. As a result, he may not be up-to-date with any current news in the field.
The meaning I got: just be confident of who you are, nobody cares about being yourself, even if you are an adult you can still be young and act like it cause who really cares... And forget about sad moments, if you want you can join too and feel free about being young
FINALY AARON 🎉, thank you so much for your reaction!!! You can check out their vocals performance in Begin Again for Lily and Sullyoon. It is worth watching. We are looking forward to seeing it!
This is basically their diss song for their bashers talking about their songs. The title itself is basically what the bashers are saying they're yound dumb stupid. Especially their music. Diss song in a children song since that's what the bashers wants them to sing basically.
it sound like my favorite music when i was a child.. like: watermelon,watermelon.. papaya,papaya.. banana,banana, banana,banana fruit salad,fruit salad..😂
I was kinda surprised that you didn't recognise the chorus and found it.. unpredictable.. xD the melody is literally a nursery rhyme, 'frere jacques', or 'vader jakob', or 'brother john' in english. but it's so much funnn xD
the song meaning could refers to teenager's life or nmixx itself. like so many people mocking their concept, but they can be young, dumb, and stupid, whatever they said, nmixx don't care, it's their story. their movie having no genre and could make any genre. but it's climax since the first scene, like it what exactly happen to nmixx since their debut. and they make a new wave
I want to say that the background music for the course ( the young, dumb, stupid) part is actually come from a Taiwanese children song, which is “The Two Tigers 兩隻老虎🐯”
I am really curious of this Aaron Freeman. He doesn't know anything beyond kpop (not saying in a bad way). Multiple times I've seen him not knowing pop culture & mainstream references. AND TODAY I CAN'T BELIEVE HE DIDN'T REALISE THAT CHORUS MELODY IS ACTUALLY A REAL NURSERY RHYME. Aaron sorry but are you an Alien?!!!!
For some reason I got the finger dance during ding dang dong part really fast like my second try, because I tried It really fast like them and it kinda flows more nicely when you get into that rhythm
I think it's about youth, having big dreams without caring what people say And free to determine their own life. If y'all like cool and weird music stan Nmixx and NCT 😂😎
just saw your reaction on CLOY. in episode 6 you said the motorcycle exploding wont stop the truck. obviously. BUT THE DRIVER IS THE ONE WHO STOPPED THE TRUCK CAUSE YOU KNOW, HE CONTROLS THE TRUCK? LOGIC>PHYSICS. HE PRESSED THE BRAKE WITH HIS FOOT BECAUSE THE FIRE AND SMOKE COMING OFF THE MOTORCYCLE IS BLOCKING HIS VISION??? LMAO.
his objective was to stop the truck so they wont be crushed by it. he did so. and shooting the driver may not work if the windows are bulletproof. again, LOGIC>YOUR PHYSICS

That and with SK 'incredible' sense of music most of the time; pop-related at the very least.
Their comeback is on monday, and the title track is Love Me Like This. This is their bside pre release
Haewon pic is just ✨✨✨
I was wondering which one was the actual title. But I think I like this one better 😭
@@potatosaladd "LMLT" is the title track, meanwhile "YDS" is a pre-release bside.

The chorus is a sample of a famous nursery rhyme that why they have the ding dang dong part
its actually a b-side, the title track and álbum will come out 20th
It’s a bside not the actual comeback
Including a melody of a nursery rhyme is cool and it sounds so good
Regarding credits, NMIXX haven’t done them in a main title before but did have credits at the end of their Christmas song last December
ITS THEIR ONE OF THE COMEBACKS ONLY!! TITLE TRACK WILL BE RELEASED ON 20TH MARCH
4:18 the chorus idea from kids song
