I have a big IDEA! You guys should gather all of your friends and let two of them be the Mom and Dad then the 1st gen and then the 2nd and they all take care of the pups in the 3rd gen. You guys should try it :D I hope no one dies if you do this idea.
if you guys are still looking for a solution to the sora situation, i have a few ideas (3ven if this is super late) theres a few things you could do, and since-despite the whole elements thing and blaze having had run into a mimic wolf-you lot probably want something semi-realistic, here are some ideas: 1: simply say sora hadn't died, but definitely give him some debuffs and/or a "challenge" (maybe if pups are sick, he can't be around them or else he will get sick too, etc) 2: you could take the mimic idea and apply it here, having a faux-sora in replacement. no clue what would happen to the balance of things if the wind element was actually a mimic, but would be interesting (maybe?) 3: you could replace sora with one of zephyr's pups (as very clearly stated at in one comment). could do a little bit of angst with this too, if you want to do stuff involving character arcs and so on (pressure from family to be wind element, pressure to be something great, feelings that they dont belong with soot, sleet, and fauna, etc) 4: you could have the ghost of sora take part in things, but that wouldn't render much helpful for anyone's character development (and ghosts probably can't eat, so that wouldn't entirely be fun either- but there are ways to make it interesting, if you bend the rules of what ghosts may or may not be able to do) there are plenty of ideas, but these are the four i could think of as of writing this comment. you probably have it all figured out, but in case you wanted ideas for if this happens again within this series (and it has a good chance of doing so, despite how great at the game you four are) have fun, happy playing! and stay safe everyone (from internal or external threats), and be sure to take breaks when necessary!

Wasn’t sora the air element maybe because he died the universe really was thrown out of balance and that’s why there’s all the storms
