And finally, some fun facts. My favorite team is the Boston Red Sox, as I hail from New England. I now live in Northern Arizona, which feels far away, but in some corner of my mind, I’m always at Fenway.
Roger Clemens ran over my foot with his Porsche when I was 12 years old. My foot was fine and I got an autograph out of it!!!
Mark McGwire has TWICE signed an autograph for ME and NO ONE ELSE!!!
I led the Framingham, Massachusetts Babe Ruth League in Home Runs TWO Years in a Row!!!
I hit for the cycle in my first game as a call up for the “higher” Babe Ruth League Dodgers. I also recorded the entire 1988 Dodgers-A’s World Series and watched all five games over and over all winter. For both these reasons, I love the Dodgers, although the Rockies are technically my National League team as I’ve lived in Colorado three times!
Sometimes I’m asked, “Why is Pete Alonso your favorite player?” Well, there are several reasons. 1) I’m partial to power hitting first basemen (especially righties), having played first base as a righty and led the league in HR twice (did I already mention that? 😂). 2) I met Pete when he was a nobody in the Arizona Fall League. He signed a ball and was super nice. 3) I drafted him with the LAST PICK in my 2019 fantasy baseball draft, and he more or less won the league for me (hitting 53 jacks out of the last spot off the board tends to help!). 4) He has a dad bod yet is a superstar. Just like so many of us who love this channel! 5) I rarely place bets, but when watching the HR derby several years back with friends we all placed a small amount on one player. Mine was Pete and-he won the Derby and won me $40. 6) He is, by all accounts, a great guy who does a lot for his community. 7) I met him again when he was a superstar and he was, again, super nice. 8) He has the coolest nickname ever. No, not “Big Meat Pete.” I’m talking about “POLAR BEAR!!!!”

Why does Allen & Ginter put random non-baseball related images of things on card stock?
It’s due to the original Allen & Ginter set, which was this way with random things mixed in with baseball cards. Some people love it, I kinda wish it was all baseball 😂
Topps sent me an e-mail saying they will be shipping the 206 card sleeve pack that was supposed to be in every 206 carton and they should be shipping by 11/12/24

I'll tell you one thing though! I think that we need to avoid stating the facts that well it's not the card we want or that of a player that we really wanted makes, I believe the person doing the video look bad. Just accept it and that's it move on. Also, who cares what the autograph comes in. Just go with the flow go with the flow on that stuff

My carton had 2 canvas cards, 1 wood grain card, 2 horizontle cards and an curtis mead rookie auto

More feedback for you. At the 10 minute mark you start telling us about Walker Buehler and something about a WS video from last week and then you get distracted while ripping a pack which leads to rambling on & on about your injury and your dull blade and more rambling about the cards, etc. Meanwhile we’re waiting for you to get back to the Walker Buehler point which you finally get back to at the 19 minute mark. Attention Deficit Disorder? Or simply your excitement of the cards? Seems you have lots on your mind and too much to say, which makes for a very difficult viewing experience. Most viewers simply want to see the cards & the hits, and maybe a little education about the set. Toby Keith’s song “A Little Less Talk and a Lot More Action” would be fitting background music for your videos. Hope my rambling feedback helps in some way. Keep on ripping. All love.
I feel your feedback is a mixed bag b/c you say “all love” but some of the language is pretty critical. Yes in fact I do have ADHD and I am not ashamed of that. Yes I do have a lot on my mind as I believe I mentioned being injured at work and the circumstances of that were extremely stressful and upsetting. I rip to help distract from the stress of my job and to bring joy to myself and others. The banter is something my fans really enjoy and part of my style. I do get distracted sometimes but always come back to the point. That’s the nature of telling stories while ripping. I’ve been doing this a year and a half and I’ve learned that my style is my style and I’m not going to change it, as many really enjoy it. Thanks for watching.

Cool video! 206 Topps, to me, is the lamest set. I don’t mean to be a jerk. They’re so a,all, and the artwork and design is just bad.
