Can see that this video is 4 years ago. Just watched it in Feb 2023. Amazing what a lack of talking can communicate. Enjoy the various ecology at different elevations. Thanks for the tour Eric.
U mean Wallace the Bruce, or is it KIng Bruce the Wallace, no its KIng Robert de Bruce and William Wallace, no King Robert the Bruce and Sir William Wallace of Scotland, some day this country will enter a new era , an era of FREEDOM, from the vasilege of the English state, FREEDOM, FREEDOM........
So much to love about this movie Eric. Just one of the many - the way you use the soundtrack to tell the story with finesse, letting the soundtrack carry the narrative a little further even after the imagery has moved onto the next part, or the other way around, sound happening before we see the significance of the sound. Clearly you think a lot about how to put your movies together - high quality thinking.
Thank you Erik, pure natural with no music or talking, this is what I love about your videos, you are living my dreams, in my opinion; you are definently the only youtuber deserves the support. Keep it up.
Once, somewhere in Scandinavia, I experienced the same. I stuck my head out of the tent and saw on top of some low trees a rödbena (redshank, tringa totanus) giving an endless stream of shrill alarm calls. Good memories. Now it was your turn.
We all have problems and worries and baggage but sometimes someone offers a glimmer of light to something we can all attain no matter where we are .Let us make time people get out there into your own wide open.A profound thanks Erik!!
Hello Eric! Just a quick word to let you know that you have at least one new fan here in south central Kentucky, USA. You do a great job and I hope you will always enjoy it. We need more like you in this neck of the woods. Be safe!
So so love this video. The vastness, the sheer peace and tranquillity of it all. Something that a person could search their whole life for yet still not find. I'm so jealous that I am unable to complete these types of expeditions. Awesome, that is all I can say and thanks for sharing. ATB Andy
Splendid isolation and desolate beauty with just the sounds of the wind, glacial streams and occasional wildlife. Peaceful, magnificent lonely mountains.
I live in the USA next to Canada but you have nice scenery there in Sweden and I'm Norwegian and American Indian you got some nice videos thank you for sharing those with me🤓
Landscape is art. Mountains and valleys covered with snow, flowers and life etc. with sound at the site ... You put it on the screen beautifully. It's a stunning video. Thank you Erik for your continued upload. From fan in S.Korea. 고맙습니다.
I don't know how I came across one of your videos but I am glad I did now am hooked. your work is beautiful thank you for taking us along your journey. Continue making these adventures thanks
Thank you Erik, whilst I fear my boots will never touch Sarek , this video has let me experience how well you know its tranquil and savage beauty. There are so may places, so little time and my resources are limited. Whilst I love my local Peak District , I dream of places like Sarek and your beautiful video has made it all the more real for me.
Eric - love your films - you’ re an inspiration to solo backpacking, learned a lot about gear and techniques and the pleasures of nature through your work - thanks
O my goodness! How fantastically beautiful! This is such a wonderful journey through the mountains: all the lush green land, blue skies, flowers, and flowing mountain waters. Just Gorgeous! I love how patiently you pause to take it all in. This Sweden actually reminds me of northern Vermont, where I live. Thanks so much for sharing. Best of further journeys to you!
Yes it's really remarkable how similar northern New England is to Scandinavia. I'm still so moved by the ultra-colored cinematography of this video. Really wonderful! Thanks again.
Erik, so grateful for you. Thankyou for allowing us to experience the pure splendor of nature. Words are not sufficient enough to describe the incredible experience that you have once again shared. Thank you! Daniel
Erik, your videos are truly gems with wonderful visuals and attention to detail and composition. But what really sets them apart is that you treat the audio as important as the photography. Well done!
The audio track alone is magnificent. The mountains beckon. Captured beautifully. Peace. You have influenced me to try to capture more natural sounds in my videos.
Skyrim looks great that time of year! Seriously though, fantastic video. Sarek really is one heck of a majestic place and the wordlessness of the video makes that come through better. I know I'm late to the party here, but you really are one of the very best nature/wildlife filmmakers on the tube. .. Now where did I put my mosquito repellant?
You look like a character from Tarkovsky's cinema, And if you don't know, this is a compliment. Love your work, it's special. Highlights for me: insect on snow, sound muting after you put on glasses, tent near river and you sitting nearby.
Interesting scenery. Has some of the beautifully desolate look of our mountains here in Nevada. BTW, I bought the Dyneema version of the Tarptent Notch that you have. It's the Notch Li and weighs 20 oz. I have the silnylon Tarptent Moment DW and have used it for years so I think I'll like the Notch Li as well.
I just watched your video with a cup of coffee in my easy chair at home in Northern California. I felt as if I was there, it was a very peaceful experience for me.
Erik, I really like the way you convey tranquility of nature. By the way, you may consider coming to the Washington State for a backpacking trip if you haven't been here before. The nature in the Pacific Northwest is also breathtakingly beautiful.
I somehow missed this video. It is very varied with very nice camera settings. The landscape is breathtaking and the weather has apparently also fit. You could actually sell that to TV. They should make you an offer.
Great video, again. Wide vistas of Sarek, takes me back 25 years when I hiked those parts. You had good luck with the weather, it seems. Thanks for the map at the end, might be useful now that I've started hiking again.
Thanks Per. Weather was perfect, maybe too hot even! I can recommend the route, not too demanding and you get too see many beautiful and different sceneries.
Fantastic! I have now watched many of your videos since I recently came across your profile. The fact that you are silent most of the time feels so natural since your videowork drags me into the beautiful scenery and makes me forget about the time. It takes some good considerations master that. Great work and thanks for sharing your adventures! My recognition of some of the destinations makes it even better to watch.
Can see that this video is 4 years ago. Just watched it in Feb 2023.
Amazing what a lack of talking can communicate.
Enjoy the various ecology at different elevations.
Thanks for the tour Eric.
Thanks for not making it a music video, like most hiking videos. I like the quiet nature sounds.
Agreed
Agreed
I feel the same
FUCKING AGREE!!
Me too💖
Denna bästa naturfilm jag sett.
10 out of 10. No need for words.
Bruce Wallace , yup.

As a city guy, the quiet and seclusion seem so peaceful. Thank you for sharing your beautiful videos.
The scene at 13.15 with the tent on the field and mountains in the background with the sun into the camera is fantastic!
This is the most tranquil thing I have ever seen ....
Every time I watch a new video, I say, "This one is my favorite." But, this one is my favorite 🧡!
So much to love about this movie Eric. Great video Erik! Not a single word, yet so enjoying to watch. Had my breakfast coffee while I watched it :)
Erik would have given you a thumps up.
A man of few words....but with films this good words are not needed.
Härligt vacker film! Älskade speciellt de låga fotograferingsvinklar bland vegetation, och naturens lugnande ljud. Tusen tack, Erik
Thank you Erik, pure natural with no music or talking, this is what I love about your videos, you are living my dreams, in my opinion; you are definently the only youtuber deserves the support. Keep it up.
