You wrap your rope so smooth and neat. I’m gradually getting better at wrapping and have found another addiction related to my sewing machine. In the meantime all my quilting fabrics remain tucked away safely or stare at me on open shelves while I’m tangled in 1000 ft of rope😂. You are a great teacher and crafter.

I always called that 3 step zigzag a mending stitch. It was so much sturdier than a regular zigzag. I've been wanting a yarn bowl for the longest time. I wonder if I could make one using this technique? I think it would work. I'd need to think about how to do the little curly part that the yarn goes through. What a pretty bowl.

I’ve been making one. I’m using 4 yarns and twisting it as I zigzag stitch. It’s working feels like felt and soft.

    Laurel,
You need to clean your machine and change the needle. That will help with the noise.
