I agree I pass on so many Lego larger vehicles because there is either no interior space or enough to store a couple pieces. This set caught my attention on it's announcement because how much space it looked to have. Definitely a good chance I'll try to get this one.
Another AMAZING design by Hans Burkhard Schlömer! This man made so many great SW sets, a shame Lego let him do communication stuff without much consideration as the guy is now hated for the gunship comments... It just wasn't his job, but THIS is his job and wow does he do it well!
The fact that it has a spacious, usable interior that actually looks pretty good has me sold on it and I'm not even a huge fan of this particular ship. Fantastic design.
Honestly, this set is where you get the most bang for your buck in my opinion. You get 4 exclusive minifigs and a decently large ship with great interior space and playability. And the price for it is far better compared to what you get from the others sets.
This set almost seems like a UCS quality to it! With the interior space and the completed look of the ship, no gaps and very few strange colors coming through, it's just about perfect, the price is also quite acceptable, cool review, Jang!
Great set and review, I am building mine watching this. This ship really looks like Director Krennic's shuttle that Lego did years ago with shorter wings and no mohawk but the interior is much better designed.
In my opinion this is easily one of the best designed Lego Star Wars ships ever made. It even surpasses Krennic's shuttle as a 'big black bad guy ship' (aside from the minifigs). Huge fan.
I love the set, my only tiny little complaint is that Reva should’ve had the older brown color for her head, like the same color Lando had. Side comment about how this should’ve been the bad batch shuttle with interior detail
I don't mind the use of stickers in lego sets over prints, but I really wish those interior stickers were prints. Usually stickers are used because the detail is super specific to the set, but these details could be reused in basically any imperial lego set so it would make sense to make them prints instead.
I try to look at sets as though I was still a kid, and designs like this with good interior playability are a huge plus for me. The exterior design is also really well done. Thank you for the review
As always a great review. I agree with all your points and after watching the stream last night, seeing this set come together, it doesn’t disappoint. To me, this has made me more excited to finally get the set in hand. Thanks again jang!
When I initially saw pictures for the set, I was expecting it to be really tiny and boring with little playable features (basically the same as my opinion on the Knights of Ren shuttle). Turns out that this set is absolutely gorgeous and a lot bigger than I initially thought! The interior space is definitely a major highlight for me on top of just the general sleek structure of the build in general!
The building techniques are really cool! This is a fantastic model for parts that you can use for Space Police 1, Blacktron 2 and M-Tron MOCs. It already comes with a few blue plates for the Space Police.
I dont care for this ship or these figures much, but I love how well its built and the playability of the thing. This is a good benchmark for other lego ship sets.
The build took me back to the good ole days of Krennic’s Shuttle, that being said I think it could have been reinforced with other elements as it was a tad bit fragile. Love the thrusters design as i’m always a big fan of how Lego designs them for any given ship! The interior is simple, as for any other build. The cockpit is also really well done to the point where the canopy just barely covers the head. Lots of great pieces overall for what you pay for the set, I give it an 8.5/10
Up there with the Benatar as one of my favorite Lego spaceships, as well as favorite Lego sets of all time! Next on my list may be the Galaxy Explorer at this point, I'll have to see
Got this last week for 75 € and love it - especially for that price! It has substance, it has space for different scenarios, it has nice figures - it's a winner for me!
Great build, awesome figures, amazing interior space and playability, Greta display ability and pretty reasonable price. Honestly top 10 LEGO SW sets ever
Bro it looks like the flying fox from the Snyder cut, but more suped up for intergalactic travel which I love. I might buy the set just for that reason alone lol.
That's a nice ship, I really like interior space with Star Wars sets. I'm looking forward to your review of the Galaxy Explorer. I think the sets are comparable in many ways.
at 1:34 I have the same experience/issue that its more flimsy than the other side. unless you glue the pieces together this set is difficult to play with as parts continue to fall off and has to be held a certain way when carrying it (otherwise pieces fall apart) - overall its a great set and looks fantastic.
Completely agreed. Best value for a moderately expensive Star Wars set this year. Reminds me a lot of the Krenek's shuttle from Rogue One only streamlined, and better assembled. Really happy to see the landing skids as most of these vehicles just sit flat with no landing support at all.
Man you busted out that review after the Twitch build! You are a machine my dude! I can't wait to get this set. I see some very minor modifications I will be doing to clean up the bottom and adjust the interior... and maybe add some color tiles to add some style, but this set is well done. I enjoyed your stream on Twitch as well. Keep up the awesome content!
I bought this set for my son. In my opinion, it is the best 2022 lego star wars set. It looks good and has enough play functionality. Price is also ok for that size.
This set next to the ATTE is extremely comparable in perceived size. One of those sets that is just so much more impressive in person. Cannot believe that amazing price.
This set has amazing building techniques and is really a very satisfying build. I'm glad I bought it. My only negative about the set is the wings don't lock into position and the light saber blades are opaque and not really see through like in the past.
It’s an incredible build. If it was a bit cheaper I would get it. I also think there should have been stormtroopers. Purgetroopers preferably but the show didn’t have those
Love the tshirt, brings back good memories from my Amiga days!! This ship looks great, I might have to pick it up at some point. I wish the Justifier had been built to the same scale/design/price point.
Fun fact: you can actually stand people up in the interior and still close the set up properly, also excluding the 3 already included inquisitors I was able to fit 7 figures using the interior space
In my opinion, this is one of the best Lego Star Wars sets in a long time. Four great, highly desirable figures; complex shaping; new cockpit piece; no small finnicky stickers; least gappy set possible ever that isn't a UCS set; no erroneous colours; BRILLIANT opening ability... What's not to love? Oh, the price. However, a lot more effort has gone into this than they usually seem to do. This is Lego at their finest for me.
Just bought this set. $99.99 at Target now. Was going to buy the Imperial shuttle but someone stole those 4 sets off the shelf. Now everything is spider wrapped with alarms.
The price of LEGO is entirely measured by its trade value, as in "what would someone else pay for this?". There is no trace of the set's actual value, in production costs and reasonable return on the brand name. The price is, at this point, entirely 'fictional', like stocks at Wall Street.
I honestly might get this Ive been on the fence for a while but this seems like a great deal, especially for the interior space and the minifigures plus the build seems fun to put together
Great review Jang. This is clearly one of these cases in which you must take a look at the price per volume of stuff as you say rather than the price per part ratio.
This is a good looking ship and a great rendition in LEGO form. Good minifigs too. Yeah you definitely wouldn't want to hang this one from the ceiling. But anyone who does could always add parts.
Got it for the figures and didnt expect much But man is this set awesome. Thinking that its only 10 bucks more than the marauder from bad batch is crazy. They messed the colors up, its super small and then you get this set. Looks amazing, decent size and surprisingly stable considering the build
Sets like this makes me wonder why they price the justifier the way they did. Both the scythe and the justifier are close to 1000 pieces (give or take). Both have 4 minifigures each which are desirable. One is $100, the other is $170. The justifier does not live up to its namesake.
The availability of interior space for minifigs alone makes this set awesome. Lego needs to keep on doing this for other vehicle sets.
I agree I pass on so many Lego larger vehicles because there is either no interior space or enough to store a couple pieces. This set caught my attention on it's announcement because how much space it looked to have. Definitely a good chance I'll try to get this one.

Oh yeah he made it, he also made Krennic's Shuttle from 2016, very similar.
The fact that it has a spacious, usable interior that actually looks pretty good has me sold on it and I'm not even a huge fan of this particular ship. Fantastic design.
In my opinion, this is the best Star Wars set of the year! I can't wait to build this when I get one
Definitely - the AT-TE is amazing but it's not as good as the last one due to it being downsized and more gap-y
I’ve just finishing building this and I’m genuinely very impressed with both the quality and value. Sometimes lego is nice to us
Great set and review, I am building mine watching this. This ship really looks like Director Krennic's shuttle that Lego did years ago with shorter wings and no mohawk but the interior is much better designed.
It really does. I intend to display them together.
I’m really happy for everyone loving this set - I’m not quite sure I’m a fan of the ship itself but I am glad the set is good!
This is (in my opinion) the best priced set of the summer wave
Fully agree, the only set realising, that I personally think is priced better is the galaxy explorer
This also feels a lot bigger in-hand than the Bad Batch shuttle which felt extremely undersized and a little flimsy.
The Inquisitor's Transport Scythe is probably a really great set because of the new Inquisitor figure, and the ship's design. Really impressive
Always wait for your reviews before I buy! Absolutely love them.
I don't mind the use of stickers in lego sets over prints, but I really wish those interior stickers were prints. Usually stickers are used because the detail is super specific to the set, but these details could be reused in basically any imperial lego set so it would make sense to make them prints instead.
That t-shirt is lowkey awesome.
I wish more Lego sets came with this amount of internal space.
I try to look at sets as though I was still a kid, and designs like this with good interior playability are a huge plus for me. The exterior design is also really well done. Thank you for the review
This set is awesome! Just finished building mine last night!
Dark nougat is such a good addition. The faces show up so much better against it
I wasn't too hyped because I'm not the biggest Star Wars fan. It just looks like a really good model and if I were 10 I'd probably really enjoy it
Looks amazing! Great size and finally some interior space on a shuttle!
When I first saw this set, and all the room inside, I kept thinking about how much of a letdown the Knights of Ren Shuttle was. Lego redeemed!
Love your honest opinion!!!!Nice to get it from someone that actually paid for the set.
As always a great review. I agree with all your points and after watching the stream last night, seeing this set come together, it doesn’t disappoint. To me, this has made me more excited to finally get the set in hand. Thanks again jang!
Lego just keeps getting better and better
When I initially saw pictures for the set, I was expecting it to be really tiny and boring with little playable features (basically the same as my opinion on the Knights of Ren shuttle). When I saw the video I did not know how big and how mush sideways techniques it uses thx for showing this
I feel like if the tile the canopy rests on was trans red it might look better.
I dont care for this ship or these figures much, but I love how well its built and the playability of the thing. This is a good benchmark for other lego ship sets.
Mine arrives today and I’m so excited! Looks to be one of the best sets around this price point in the last couple years
I like the sizing here, it feels reminiscent of the older sets
The build took me back to the good ole days of Krennic’s Shuttle, that being said I think it could have been reinforced with other elements as it was a tad bit fragile. Love the thrusters design as i’m always a big fan of how Lego designs them for any given ship! The interior is simple, as for any other build. Great build, awesome figures, amazing interior space and playability, Greta display ability and pretty reasonable price. Honestly top 10 LEGO SW sets ever
This set looks like more of a batman vehicle then some of the batman sets.
Bro it looks like the flying fox from the Snyder cut, but more suped up for intergalactic travel which I love. I might buy the set just for that reason alone lol.
Batman on his way to hunt down jedi (but not kill them)
Fantastic looking set. I'm wondering if a few techniques in this set could be applied to create a larger Krennic shuttle.
Mines coming today and I can’t wait, love the review 👌
Love love love this set, also very decent value for LEGO in 2022.
That's a nice ship, I really like interior space with Star Wars sets. I'm looking forward to your review of the Galaxy Explorer. I think the sets are comparable in many ways.

Got this set yesterday and I love it. It was a fun build, and looks really striking in hand (as if it didn’t in pics/vids!).
Highly recommended.
This looks like a nice start for some chunky Batwing to me.
Completely agreed. Best value for a moderately expensive Star Wars set this year. Reminds me a lot of the Krenek's shuttle from Rogue One only streamlined, and better assembled. Really happy to see the landing skids as most of these vehicles just sit flat with no landing support at all.
Love how the gundam collection is expanding!
Thanks for always showing the extra pieces. I thought I was crazy when I ended up with 2 extra 1x1 black slope and tiles
I just got mine finished and I'm quite happy with it. I give it a 9/10
I want one in Classic Space colours.
Looks like a good overall set. Decent ramp and interior space for a change.
Just got this set, I love it
Man you busted out that review after the Twitch build! You are a machine my dude! I can't wait to get this set. Great mini-figures. Awesome build. Not terribly overpriced. I like it, day 1 purchase for me.
I bought this set for my son.
In my opinion, it is the best 2022 lego star wars set. It looks good and has enough play functionality.
Price is also ok for that size.
Nice shirt Jang, my dad and I both rock the Atari Star Wars shirt every now and then
This set next to the ATTE is extremely comparable in perceived size. One of those sets that is just so much more impressive in person. Cannot believe that amazing price.
Dude... that t-shirt is awesome! Love your reviews, thank you for all the wonderful content.
This set has amazing building techniques and is really a very satisfying build. I'm glad I bought it. My only negative about the set is the wings don't lock into position and the light saber blades are opaque and not really see through like in the past.
I want to get this set solely to mod it into a Blacktron 1 themed MOC. Great looking ship with so much black!
Its a truly amazing set 😄 I will buy it as soon as possible. Thanks for this wonderful review. Keep it up!!
Hans Burkhard Schlömer DESIGN! This guy is amazing!
Fantastic build and amazing interior more of this please LEGO, good price too(compared to other sets of this time)
It’s an incredible build. If it was a bit cheaper I would get it. I also think there should have been stormtroopers. Purgetroopers preferably but the show didn’t have those
It's an incredibly well-designed set that I wish I could get my hands on, but they really did Reva dirty with that hair piece
Probably one of the best, if not THE best set this year.
I wonder if you can build the fortress inquisitorious out of this.
Love the tshirt, brings back good memories from my Amiga days!! This ship looks great, I might have to pick it up at some point. I wish the Justifier had been built to the same scale/design/price point.
“Come over.”
“Can’t, new Jangbricks review dropped.”
The shape reminds me of the old sphinx head from Lego adventurers. Which means someone needs to make a huge mecha sphinx now
Fun fact: you can actually stand people up in the interior and still close the set up properly, also excluding the 3 already included inquisitors I was able to fit 7 figures using the interior space
Nice review. Great set. Cool T-Shirt 🙂
Terrific set from top to bottom. I love it.
Awesome review for an awesome set
if you guys want this it might be on sale in costco
This is a great looking set!
This is one I definitely won't miss out on :)
Just bought this set. $99.99 at Target now. Was going to buy the Imperial shuttle but someone stole those 4 sets off the shelf. Now everything is spider wrapped with alarms.
Great review! Thanks!
This maybe one of the only SW sets I get from from the latest run. I really want a Cad Bane, but it's hard to justify that Justifier price.
The price of LEGO is entirely measured by its trade value, as in "what would someone else pay for this?". There is no trace of the set's actual value, in production costs and reasonable return on the brand name. The price is, at this point, entirely 'fictional', like stocks at Wall Street.
Wow Wow Wow!! I could not care less about the source material of the IP, but this set is AMAZING!!
Good deal and a great Obi-Wan minifig, but I spent my hundred dollars on the BD-1 set!
it was a tough choice for me
I wish they would do minifig based Fallen Order sets. There's so many choices on scenes and features
You could fit so many dark troopers in there :O
This is a good looking ship and a great rendition in LEGO form. Good minifigs too.
Yeah you definitely wouldn't want to hang this one from the ceiling. But anyone who does could always add parts.
I wonder why Lego can't round off the lightsabers at the end. The squared off end seems to be slightly wrong..
easily the best set of the wave so far
This set is awesome, I was able to fit all 3 inquisitors and a 5 man unit of death troopers
Hans does it again!
This model hase a very nice shape and building technicks. Would love to see the building instructions... 😄
Thanks for the review.
Got it for the figures and didnt expect much
But man is this set awesome. Thinking that its only 10 bucks more than the marauder from bad batch is crazy. They messed the colors up, its super small and then you get this set.
Looks amazing, decent size and surprisingly stable considering the build
In star wars, i wonder what happened to the scythe between kenobi and rebels
Because of this review, I just bought this set! :)
Found it for 80€, the figures alone are going to be worth 80€ in the future.
Sets like this makes me wonder why they price the justifier the way they did. Both the scythe and the justifier are close to 1000 pieces (give or take). Both have 4 minifigures each which are desirable. One is $100, the other is $170. The justifier does not live up to its namesake.
I think the 5th brother's face is sand green
Kinda looks like a flattened Krennik’s shuttle
I want it, reminds me of Director Krennics Shuttle from RO.
