thanks for the handle removal video. My external door handle is failing top open on drivers door. Inside handle works. I have removed the ext. handle via the t25 screw. The lock sounds/feels like it is working. What do I need to clean/fix/replace?
I'm facing the same problem like yours, external door handle unable to open. I'm currently using gentle pull on the lever while pressing on the door key knob and it works. Not sure what is the problem for the door not opening. Is it the sensor or the power locks.
Thx for making this! The key things to remember are 1) the torx is t20 left hand thread 2) the handle does not need to be extended to back out this screw 3) the handle can be unplugged without pulling interior panel, but you'll need to be very nimble.
