BMW 4 series or Mercedes E class coupe is basically what you mean.. Much more premium feel inside and better handling. But the Mustang is a lot of fun for not a lot of money (unless you live in Norway or Denmark)
My father also has this car. But something special about his car is that it has a customized option. This option allows the car to detect crowds which will make it drive more carefully
Nice review Matt. I own a 2016 Mustang GT and agree with your observations. Too much focus though on rear seats and luggage space. This car isn't meant to be a 4 passenger car. The back seats are there to use in a pinch for short hauls. This car is about the engine and handling and it scores in those areas.

This is not a 2018, the title is misleading. The 2018 has different transmissions, more HP, different dashboard, different front fascia, different rear defuser, and improved interior trim. So, renaming your 2017 video to 2018 is disingenuous as the car has had a mid cycle refresh.

Mat I live in Canada where these cars are priced fairly cheap. I'm currently thinking about buying a Shelby GT350 which has a 5.2 litre engine with 527 HP. It's not cheap however you only live once. Carry on with your great work Mat. Cheers from a Canadian fan.
Yeah. The cup holders are in the right place for left wheel drive for the U S but not for right hand drive. It should have been catered for but won't stop me from owning one.
I've just driven this 5.0 litre V8 convertible in Florida for a week. It is sensational, but being typical American car, it is not as refined as our German cousins & clearly the build quality is not the same. However the engine roar is sweet and performance is incredible. It really does give you a grin then you plant your foot down. It's all about emotion! For the price it's incredible value. Go for the automatic. Don't bother with the smaller engine, go for the 5.0!
American cars are not unreliable anymore that was back in the 70, 80 and 90's. Not the quality os comparable to Japanese cars and even surpasses them on some models.
Cost and acceleration are pretty comparable. I love the Focus RS. I drive a standard Focus. Still, I guarantee the V8 is far more reliable. I'm still kinda torn on the subject
Thank you Ford for making an affordable naturally aspirated V8 5.0. In these downsizing times it is the last of its kind that is reachable for someone else that is not a millionaire.

The way you can tell which is which is the "sync 2" (as I call it) or myFord touch is a black background being split into 4 smaller squares by colorful lines. The 2016+ if left in day time mode is a light blue background with white buttons and black symbols inside. With the main home screen having the nav on the left and 2 smaller boxes to the right with phone and music info.

Europe loves its not hatches. Take solace in the fact that Americans companies (COUGH FORD) make scrumptious hot hatches than we muricans can't have. It's just economics unfortunately...
I don't get the interior quality or style issues. I've driven Audis for 20 years and don't see a problem with this interior...it's got style, traditional Mustang hallmarks and is super comfy. The handling is far improved over the mustangs Iv'e driven state side 10 years ago. I drove the 2015 in the states before it came to the UK and I was sold. I knew a Mustang would be my next car. The manual is superb, the sound of the V8 is terrific and whole car has character. The German offerings are ubiquitous and anodyne. Don't get me wrong, I've loved my Audi's but this puts a smile on my face every time I use it.. I could pick holes in all my Audis. It's the center console which is made out of some seriously cheap plastic. Honestly, the rest of the car's interior is really good but it's ridiculous how they cheaped out on one of the areas that is touched the most.

I own a Mercedes Benz C250 petrol and I only average15 mpg from the 1.8 L turbo engine, but the Mustang does 18 mpg from a 5.0 v8 manual gear box, The moment I see what depreciation is going to do to that car I am buying it!!
We North Americans don't care about plastics and bone stock Mustangs. We mod them put noisy exhaust systems and put whipple superchargers on the engine that put the H.P over 700hp
hey, the plastic is hard touch in a lot of "inconvenient places" but guess what ? when I have my dog ridding around with me I'm very glad that the plastic is hard and not scratchable !! such as the upper part of the door , where he hangs out.
