Top work as ever mate, I agree about how this finishes which gives it the edge over Guinness for me. Sounds like a good live comparison between Guinness and this if you are up for it.
Can I ask what size glass that is is it a full pint glass ? I know the old guinness cans before the nitro surge cans never filled a pint glass to the full
A very reliable alternative to Guiness. Likewise creamy and carbonated and a bit more bitter (which is good). I prefer the Guiness cover, but when it comes to wrapping it up a cold winter night it does the same work.
Happy new year mate looks nice not seen it in Morrisons tho. You need to Try the new Black heart stout that’s nice and Conor McGregor new stout out that’s good as well can only get that in Asda
Yeah I don’t think you’ll get this one in supermarkets in the UK. It’s imported over from Ireland. Got a review of the Forged (Connor McGregor) stout coming soon. Cheers mate 🍻
Nice one Paul I wanna try this it’s on my list. Murphy’s is another one for you to try but looks like it’s not available in cans in the U.K., you would have to get it sent from Ireland which wouldnt be cheap. O’Haras stout is another one I’ve heard of that you could review. Cheers 🍻
The O’Hara’s is excellent, I am sure I have reviewed it, this Beamish I did have to get shipped from Ireland and I am struggling to find a company that ships Murphy’s.
@@ChrissBeerReviews yeah about 3-4 years ago my local big Tesco sold Murphy’s (although it was brewed by Heineken in Scotland) but now it’s disappeared. I saw someone on Reddit say they emailed Heineken to ask what’s happened and apparently it’s not in their portfolio anymore. Looks like you might have to go to Ireland Chris lol
A go to stout for me in the 90's, too expensive now with the p&p on top for what it is given that we have Forged and Black Heart at a quid or so a tin.
Beamish Stout was much nicer when it was brewed by its original Brewery Beamish & Crawford Cork Heineken destroyed the brand its virtually vanished out of a lot of pubs.....Islands Edge was discontinued a few months ago another Heineken failure.
My favorite stout. I had a hard time finding it in Galway and Kerry in ‘23. Shame it’s no longer exported.
Number One Irish stout.......... pure Cork...
Where were you able to purchase Beamish to deliver to the UK?
Beautiful stuff.....i used to drink in the 90s on tap in London..
dark chocolate...
Beamish is a mucher more interesting beer than Guinness imo.

I cant grasp why Beamish isnt exported?

I’ve had the Red but not the stout - will have to give that a go ✊🏻🤘🏻🍻
One of the last days this stout was 4.3% , Heineken reduced the old ABV to 4.0% unfortunately

I loved it in the 90’s. Such a shame it is not over here anymore.
Great channel, bud! New sub :)
Awesome, thank you! Welcome along 🍻
Love that
Brains black is the very best
Beamish is muck. Murphy's Stout or the forge even Islands edge better
