      Crazy doing that, the designer must have been hitting the bottle or had a nightmare the day he designed it, just not right taking from the line of sight like that. 😮

    “ indirect lighting” a term to readily used by yacht tubers. A light in the ceiling is not necessarily indirect but it seems that all my favourite yacht tourers love the term.

    Absolute unique and futuristic Design and Layout. The used Colors and Materials are absolut on Point and great Quality. The only Critique would be the "small" Galley, but you mentioned her Cruise Area in the Med so for this use it works well. So and now i have to give you John a absolut great Compliment for the new Design/Layout of your Videos. The quality and moderation where always great, but you did another Level with this great Changes. Also the longer Duration allows more Details and changing Views. All the best Wishes from Germany.

  • @echtogammut

    Why did they bring the docking wing railing area inwards, rather than pushing them out or just going with the line of the boat? That seems like an odd design choice that owners/captains will be cussing and complaining about. This appears to be a Med boat designed in the style of an Explorer, which is kind of odd. I guess having an Explorer is now 'trendy', it's like driving a G-Wagon in the suburbs.

    Deluxe floating bachelor pad. Beautiful design features throughout the boat. Beach club is fantastic. Owners stateroom is state of the art pleasure palace. Other guest accommodations are first rate, especially VIP/Captains cabin. Galley and crew quarters are functional. Did not like the weird view blocking helm station. Engine room access not very helpful. Summed up, nice boat for a younger single owner, or younger jet set married couple.

    I used to love boats like this, now I want something I could rock by myself single handed. I'd possibily feel differently if I could afford staff... Yet more than likely not. I'd rather have an Elling E4.

    I do worry about hull integrity on yachts with so much glass. In yesteryear, we required to screw down our much smaller porthole covers in gnarly seas. Now, it seems, we no longer require to do so. Like I say, it would be of serious concern to a natural worrier like myself!

    • @bizarremagick
      @bizarremagick 4 дня назад +1

      The glass won't be a problem because like most of these boats, it will spend 99% of its life moored up in an expensive marina!

    • @johnnierainey01
      @johnnierainey01 3 дня назад +3

      Yes they are 'billed' as explorer yachts. It is a bit like someone in the middle of a city buying a large 4x4 car and using it mainly for the school run. It's all about the look...

    I see Evadne hasnt solved the problem, with the stairs on the upper deck. When they launched the 85, many pointet out, that those stairs are going to cause a lot of stupped toes and ankels. Its going to require some super skinny childsize crewmembers, to get in and out of that bar area. Im surprised they havent made a mechanism, to push those stairs up against the front wall. They already have had some odd years, since the 85, to come up with a solution to that particular problem.

    As a Pongo with ROYC offshore hand cerification [Sail] I take all reviews seriously and with a fair degree of critical credulity...meaning I know what matters when at sea and over 1200nm from a safe haven - Arksen is designed around surivability - and I have yet to see any civillian vessel that matches it's credentials in that regard...a jacuzzi won't save your life or keep you afloat if the hull is holed - c'mon, mate talk to me about why I should trust a boat with the lives of my family - seriously
