Very pretty, I'm currently knitting a shawl from some of my dyed sock yarn that I took inspiration from a different photo of lavender and It's pretty similar to yours.
I saw this yarn on your etsy store and was waiting patiently for you to post this video because I love it so much. I've very partial to your floral variegated/vaguely speckly colourways. Now i'm imagining a sweater that's made from a fade set, from lichen to lilac with this in the middle section (all in the same application style). It would be gorgeous! Also wow the breaking of the lilac is so striking! I'm going to have to rewatch the episode where you compared starting hot vs starting cold
Mill lots DEFINITELY make a difference in final color! I recently crocheted a shawl and dyed it a solid gray after completing it. All three skeins of yarn looked identical when bare, but after dyeing the middle portion took the dye a little darker. When I checked my wrappers from the yarn, 2 were the same lot numbers and 1 was different. I had some left of the 2 that were the same, so I know it was the bottom of the shawl, and I wrote on the first skein wrapper so I know it’s matching lot number was the beginning skein. The darker area was in the middle… different mill lot.
