World Pangolin Day 2023 Shadow Play by EGWS

Shadow play, also known as shadow puppetry, is an ancient form of storytelling in India. It is called "tholu bommalata" in the state of Andhra Pradesh where we have been working with the Forest Department to conserve the Indian Pangolin Manis crassicaudata.
Watch this thought-provoking shadow play intended for children to make them understand the plight of these amazing animals and their conservation significance.
