LSU Football played its 2024 Spring Game, which was offense vs defense.
Covering sports in a unique way since 2018.

The best part of my work as a RUclipsr is being able to provide coverage of sports that may not receive as much attention as they should to the large audience I have built over the years. Many of the sports I cover aren't posted by any other RUclipsrs, which makes this channel that much more important.
One of my favorite accomplishments is revolutionizing the way sports channels create thumbnails. I've adopted two different styles, one with logos on the left and a game snapshot on the right, and the other with the logos in the middle and game snapshots representing both teams on either side.
I have a combined 4 years of experience as a Baseball & Basketball Play by Play announcer, which is where I learned my skills for commentary/breakdowns.

He used to throw passes to me when he was in 8th grade . I'd be playing soccer with adults and always found a way to sneak in a few routes while I was playing soccer 😂😂😂😂
I’ve been so excited about him.. never seen a ball look like it does leaving his hand.. he’s definitely got something special.. and got on campus at 16yrs old

Them playing duck duck goose was the most impressive part of the entire spring game.
OU fan here. So far LSU has shown the best promise IMO. I know it’s just spring games, but no other team actually went out there and PLAYED football, Tennessee, Auburn, and OSU all just seemed to go through the motions. Looking forward to the end of season game in Death Valley!
Alabama did full contact and was actually hitting each other too lol I just watched their spring game and they were definitely going at it

Ohio State’s offense beat the best defense in the country. LSU will be top 15 again but that’s about it

Offense will put up a lot of points they will be explosive they are clicking but that 2nd team defense looks better than the 1st team Toviano definitely needs to start Ryan looks good at safety Burns should be playing like LB/SS Close to the line and we definitely need to get more DL in the Transfer portal
the first d line looks so slow off the ball! linebackers look more physical/gritty as well, i completely agree.

As an LSU fan here are my takeaways from the game-
LSU is going to have a very good offense again this year. Don’t be surprised if Garrett Nussmeier is a heisman finalist
To put it nicely, the defense has issues still. Luckily, it’s spring and there is time to improve but there is cause for concern.
As the game went along I feel that the 2nd and 3rd team defense and the younger players played well against the 2nd and 3rd team offense. I think the future is bright defensively even though it might not be that good this year.
Y’all going to be fine the offense seem elite the defense could use work but I think y’all would improved though I have not finish watching the whole spring game I should probably do that

@@KinglyTeperyEven if he isn't a finalist he is going to have a good season. 7/7 today for 172 and 2 touchdowns. 395 and 3 touchdowns in his first start in January. 294 and 2 touchdowns against Georgia in the second half in 2022. People are going to hate just to hate!

I still feel like we'll be better than last year's team team as a defense anyways. Once they make adjustments they should be fine. Thats just my opinion 🤷
Spring games are for depth chart placement. There will be mix ups and different set for LSU defense in the fall. We still are a 10-2 team

LSU will play two games against QBs thought to be better than Nuss. Both games in Tiger stadium.
Swann and Collins both took reps with #1 offense. Neither could do anything. All the other players were the same except QB. Swann has double digit starts in the SEC. Collins is an up and coming prospect. They have talent. Tiger defense defended it much better against them.
if you are going to say how trash our defense is you also have to say our offense is really good. that's how the spring game works

@@samuelburson7640 Got tigers a heisman QB and two 1st round WRs. The '24 defense will be much MUCH better than last year. Last year LSU had a 2nd half lead in all 3 losses. It was a 2 score lead in the 4th against joey freshwater. A lil better defense last year. LSU in the playoffs with shot at title. They will get that this year. LSU will face 2 teams with QBs on the same level as Nuss.
Give me 5 or so teams you think will beat LSU this year?
@@user-xp6qd4sk1j you dont have to sell me on the offense I don't believe they will be as good as last year but similar. The better defense I am not buying. The 5 potential losses are USC, that's probably going to be a shootout. Alabama, Ole Miss, A&M & Oklahoma. All of these teams are very good offensively. I don't know that A&M offense is on par with LSU but the others are and they will all have better defenses.
